I know this will stir up comments. I keep all my titles in a fireproof box in a secure closet. I'm amazed how people just toss them in harm's way with no regard for the future. Craigslist is just crawling with "No title". Mine is in a safe bolted to the floor with 6 3 in bolts.

We get all our Rebel parts from Jacks Rebel Warehouse in Sanford Fla. Check him out. A unusual story and place.

No I don't but I would love to get an Inder trailer for it. Its an 08 Electra AVL. A step up fron the iron barrel and just under the newer unit construction.

Also stop better, handle better, have a higher top speed, and get twice the mpg. I am an old timer and have driven the oldies. Olds 442, GTO, 64 fulie Vette, Jag XKE and my sisters Shelby Mustang GT 500. All really quick but IMO can't hold a candle to to days high tech. But for a rush, nothing like it.

I would check vacuum and gas lines and put in a new sparkplug. You might need a carb. and air filter cleaning. 4 months on the same gas is very questionable. I would not trust it. Without vacuum to the petcock gas will not flow so change the lines. Just because they look good on the outside does not mean they are good on the inside. While you are at add a gas filter. With the low miles it may have never had a good PDI. Change the valve stems. The cheap ones can go. Make sure the battery is good.

We went from $3.27 to $3.39 in one day. Has anyone noticed that the mid grade and prem. grade is 20 or so cents more than reg? I seem to remember when it was 10 cents more a gal. to go up a grade.

I remember gas wars in Florida in the mid 60s and at one time I paid 22.9 cents a gal. I had a Renault with an 8 gal. gas tank. Very scooter like at fill up time $1.47 for a fill up. I kept a Fiat 600D in the Bahamas when my family lived there and it had a 6.5 gal. gas tank if I remember right. Of course gas on the islands was always much more.

Hi Terrilee, I know you from that other forum. I am new here too and want to extend a welcome. I too have a 150 Jonway but it is, shall I say, not pretty. But it is a scooter and I love it ;D

Hello bullet from Plantation in Broward county in the state of Florida. If I get my trike going I'll be riding. i can't wait to walk the dogs at 6:30 AM when the temps are in the 30's and the wind is blowing. I am close to the turnpike and Peters road and am looking forward to the low 40s tonight. Let me know when your trike is up and running and we will go for a ride. Bashan, thanks, I am never too old to learn and I am looking forward to helping when I can.

Thanks Alleyoop. It will be in the low 40s the next few mornings but I will still be riding. I ride 4 or 5 days a week and have been known not to use my truck for over a week at times. Happy new year to all.

Hi, I am a 60 year old retired male with 46 years on two wheels of all kinds. I am fairly new to scooters (two years) and enjoy easy rides on my Jonway 150 and Royal Enfield motorcycle. My wife rides a first year (1985) Honda 250 Rebel. My daughter rides a 600 Ninja, her husband a KZ1000, and my other son in law a Suzuki SV 650. It kinda runs in the family. I have experience with GY6 150 cc engines as we have two 2005 E-Ton ATVs and find working on something as simple as a scooter a blast. My first bike was a Honda Cub 50 in 1965 and I have been hooked ever since.

One persons junk is another persons treasure. Ride it, whatever it may be, within its design limitations, do a good pdi, even on a used one, and keep up with normal routine maintenance and it should last a long time.
