If you have ever wondered how to find a dealer that will go to bat for you with the supplier/importer, look no further!
Rapid Jim at Rapid Repair is the best of the best and I would put his service up against any and all comers. I shopped via the BBB, the forums and blogs until I found Jim. He does not have a blemish of any kind on his record. He also has resolved all the difficult problems with my scoot and I am a happy camper.
All of the high volume dealers in California have terrible records when it comes to service after the sale. Of course others are no better in other parts of the country. Rapid repair stands out among dealers as a reputable full service company. Jim can and does get it done and done right. It may cost you a couple bucks extra from Jim but believe me it will be worth it many times over
Rapid repair is in Wisconsin and I live in New Mexico so any dealer I found would need to drop ship to me. A dealer that was interested in my problems was of major importance.
Good luck on buying your new scoot but take a look at Ice Bear and Rapid Repair if you want the best.

When I was researching dealers for my scoot "Killer Motorsports" was ruled out right away for bad customer reports. As I stated above my trike is great. I have/had some problems but most all have been resolved by myself and Jim from Rapid Repair. If I can get some things done soon I will have pics to publish. I am definitely proud of it!

Congratulations on the Viking, I have had mine for a couple months and it is great. I only have about 100 miles on it because it is still winter here in the High Desert.
Make sure that you keep the lubes changed. I chose to change the factory stuff before I even started it and then changed again at 20 miles. I did not find any metal in the filter but I know that I am safe. It will get another lube change at the 100 mile and 300 mile intervals. At the 500 I intend to do a complete check, valve lash, filters, check the clutch etc.
I have also been hitting the forums from Great Britain. They seem to have a leg up on us for owner maintenance and I have gained a lot of good information. I was lucky enough to buy from Rapid Repair in Wisconsin. Had it drop shipped to my home in New Mexico. Pretty daunting to start with but it finally came together.
Make sure that you have changed the fuel filter as well as the lubes. I found that I had to replace a lot of bolts and the captive nuts came off (small tack weld did not hold) when you remove the bolts for further work. My frame was manufactured with a tilt on it and I had to do some real work to get it to look right.
But after I finally got onto what it was supposed to be like, it went pretty smooth. I also ran it in for the first 20 miles by hitting the throttle pretty hard and it quit using oil right away. This is the recommendation of several small engine users in England and elsewhere.
Well good luck, I will watch this thread to see how you are doing!

AlleyOop, what does that fancy muffler do to the sound? Does it change the "put-put"? Is it quieter? Etc.
