Has anyone put a tach on their bike. If you have, how did you mount it and where did you get the tach? What type is is? Does any one have pictures. I need to mount one so I can tune the rpm's where I want them in the power band. Thanks

Any changes on the 2012? I was told upgrades parts and that was it . I got that from Icebear in CA. The dealer I got it from was www. Heluvascooter.com The total price came out to $3100 with everything PDI, Florida tax (7% different county mine is 6%) and title, tag out the door. Now do I need to get a form from her to register the warranty with the factory? I think I got 5 days to do that am I right?

Your right jim prices did change from one to the next. I did find a local dealer that I was able to drive a unit. It was not the Cyclone but close. I also did not know that even though I didn't pay taxes if I bought from a out of state dealer I would still have to pay when I went and put a plate on it. I guess a lot of people forget that you cannot beat Uncle Sam and only see the low price of just the unit and S/H.I still got a good price of $2500 with S/H plus tax and tag which is 6% tax, and they are doing the assembly of the units. She also through in Four helments of our choice that she had in stock. We all took full face which where marked at $85.00 each. At least she is local, I don't think I did bad and they are 2012's. That is the only thing I will have to wait a little longer for them. What do you think

I am new to all this scooter buying stuff so you can imagine what I have been though, and you guys warned me!! EXTREME-SCOOTERS is where I will start and Dave the OWNER. I was interested in TWO Icebear Cyclone's so I made a lot of calls and compared the difference between the dealers, like what they gave along with the bike. The number one thing they all say is, we give you this and this and they don't do this. I tell them thats the same thing they told me about you!! So Extreme gives me a price of $2350 with shipping, Holy Smokes I'll take two!!! I told him I want 2012's not 2011's and he say's that the 2011's are the Year of Manufacture and Invoiced in 2012 as a PST150C Cyclone for $2350 Includes Shipping Each. I said no deal I want year of Manufacture of 2012, I tell him if he takes off alittle more off the 2011 that I will Take the 2011 if not give me the 2012's. He tells me he has to check with Wendy at Icebear in CA. He calls back and tells me the 2011 are sold but he can get me the 2012 for $2400, ok order them!! Well we don't take charge cards and this is my fault for not looking but I ASSUMED that everyone takes a charge card on something like this and it did not say it on his web site so here I am wrong. I have a good deal with the credit card company on fee's and interest for one year why lose the interest and pay cash? He tells me he's not equiped to take charge cards. I tell him how many people out there can pay in full for a Big Boy Toy like this. He tells me well if I should not like it or have a problem I could stop the card payment. I mean are these machines that BAD that the dealer is already talking about problems? But then on the other hand he says let me check with Wendy agan. Calls back and tells me if I want to use the credit card I will have to pay Retail Price of $2599 shipped. Whoa alittle while ago you told me you where not equiped to take credit cards but if I buy it now it's Retail!! Forget this rip off guy stay away from him. I asked him to have Faith in me like he wants me to have Faith in him. Ship the bike I will have a shop put it together and set it up. In the mean time hold the title when it's done I'll pay him in cash or whatever he wants. Upon getting the payment send me the title. I think thats fair, you can guess his answer, NO WAY!! I even told him give me a deal like the credit card company with no interest or fee's for a year, same answer!! Where is his FAITH like he wants me to have FAITH though, STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Now for Killer Motor Sports they said they will beat any price. They tell me the best is $2699 I told them that POWER SPORT FINANCING has it for $2599 with everything they are giving with there deal. Well Killer and Power Sport are the same people with different names and they can't even match their OWN prices!!! I found this with other web site dealers different names and prices just so you think your getting a better deal but you really are not. This is one of IceBears problems beside their workmanship there DEALERS are out to RIP us the customer off!! I am going to post this on Icebears site just to see what they have to say about it. I think Ice Bear should have ALL Dealers have a location where the customer can go and see someone. You guys warned me about dealers but I had no idea that it was like this. I mean I want to buy to bikes at a good price and not get raped Who can I trust and beable to use a credit card? Don't tell me Rapid nothing bad to say other then his prices. Anybody else? For all you first time buyers PM me maybe we can help each other. Ice Bear needs to get someone who will keep these dealers in line. I was even told that being that they are not making money on their LOW price don't expect a warranty just the factory one and I will have to handle it myself. All I am getting is a Bike In a BOX. BUYER BEWARE!!! Read more: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=questionable&action=display&thread=48703#ixzz1r8hyMETs

Thanks for the reply I am a ASE auto mechanic so I think I can handle the IB also did some dirt racing . I PM Mike he lives right near me I also left my phone number, but I guess he has not been on. If any of you can call him for me and tell him to call me he has my number in the PM's I sent. I just want to go buy one ASAP with this weather being so great. I am confused about all the different model names, seems like the dealers give them their own name also and I don't want to order the wrong one. Thanks

I am 58 and live here on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I have looked at the 150 Icebear but am told with myself and my wife it would not keep up on the highway, so I want to go with the 300cc. But I have heard stories about problems with Icebears 300 with vibration in the handlebars and the rear fenders. They also make three different 300's and I cannot go and see them to compare, what is the difference between them and what about the problems i heard about. Can anyone help me here also with a good cheap dealer. Are any in Florida? Do you think a 150 would be better, I need to beable to go 55 at least with two on board. Also are there any performance parts around? Thanks
