Heat it with the clothes iron from your laundry room for 5 minutes then try.

Nice price.Clean too.Whats the kick start pedal like?Like something from a Sherman tank?I would leave it in the trunk if do get it running or it may happen again.Check the valves too. They could be bent.

I would pull over and get out the tool kit and remove the panel and take out the tape and be on my way. What if my stator went bad in traffic from starting the engine with the lights on everytime?Or the cdi.Or the rectifier?

I don't want my headlights to electrified when I push the start button.I just don't think it's a good thing for this little scooter. So I put a piece of silcone "Wrap It" tape (from ace hardware) on the low beam white wire terminal. Now at least the headlights are off when the starter and magneto are revolving.I only have high beam lights that turn on off with high beam switch, but thats fine with me.I might use 35/35 watt bulbs now instead of the 25/25 watt stock ones. My scooter came with dirt and fuzzy things already in the tank.I rinsed them out. That's when I noticed the small hole at the fuel filter. The dirt would have plugged the hole before it ever got inside.I got a new filter for a lawn mower, with a fuel pump.It just hast a metal piece inside so the papr wont collapse under pressure and works just fine on my gravity fed fuel system. You may have plugged your vacuum petcock diapham.Take offthe petcock, put a hose on the vacuum stem, put the hose in your mouth and suck, clamp the hose while suction is being applied. Then blow through the exit side stem to blow out the dirt. Attachments:

When you loosen the screws for the cover do it 1/4 turn at top screw and 1/4 turn at the bottom screw, top then bottom alternting back and forth till it's real loose or the threads may get rounded off.Don't pinch the wires putting it back together.

I placed the straw into the cable opening and dripped tool oil down the side of the straw. The thin oil clings to the staw and runs right into hole.Do a few drops at time. Attachments:

I used the foam from the shipping carton to wrap the cheap and tacky fuse and the wedge from the disc brake to keep the battery fom sliding side to side. The stap is an old tranny pan gasket from a dodge mini van.The vent hose is a piece of leftover fuel line fom a german moped. Attachments:

I broke the plastic side tab trying to adjust the lights.I sanded the silver coating off and glued it back together.I then dremel sanded the openings bigger at the top and 400 grit hand sanded the the backside of the grill to remove the rough finish. It won't break again. Two of the screws that mount the light assy were stripped so I put longer one's in.
