1.) Is it on the center stand? as the side stand has a cut out switch. 2.) do you apply one of the brakes when you try to start? You have to else it will not start. Hope it runs now. Kiwiscoot

Not to highjack (SA tradition!) JR's thread... I swapped the Garden Route SA because this is all Garden Route like this. I was going to include a video to show this, but Photobucket seems to have a problem, so maybe later. scoot safe in warm SA Kiwiscoot

Nice pics kiwiscoot looks like the Drakensberg in winter or the mountains in the Cape don't you think? With winter in full swing in the southern hemisphere its nippy on the bike in the morning. Here in Johannesburg we have seen 3 degree C but the minusses are coming, no snow in Johannesburg though so scooting through the dry winter is normal. I ride just 9 km (5 miles) to work so just before the cold gets under the breaker I'm at work. Yes just like the Outeniqua mountains neat George where I grew up. Only it needed to be a really cold winter for them to have snow on, not the 0degC to -3degC mornings we have here at the moment. Kiwiscoot - who loves rides in the mountains

That's a nice HD - best I've ever seen! ;D JR - a blue HD is definitely faster in blue. Others may be faster in red, but then who can measure the speed of a black hole/Citycom -now we'll leave that argument just there as it may get political & we may be banned!. Oops this is the doctor's - no banning here, perhaps just out in a straight jacket.! Kiwiscoot - hmm it's late I think me must go to bed and stop posting nonsense.

i can imagine how clean the air is in NZ. oh ey, New zealand is famous for dalmatian looking Cows, where are they? i didn't see any on the pics. nice pics kiwi! Hi Luke next time I'm out on a ride I'll take some pictures of them for you. They & sheep are so common that we ride right past them without even giving them a second glance. I could've past more than a 1000 as most farmers here have between 450 - 800 cows. Some of the bigger country outfits have up to 3000 milking cows. And I like your avatar. I grew up in Africa and know how monkeys can "monkey around". Can make a mess of your campsite. haha Kiwiscoot - from where we saw a bit of sun today. cold frosty -3degC/26degF scoot to work this morning

Yes we do like this. click on picture Where I am it only stay for a few days and then normally not much, maybe 2 inches. The Southern Alps tho have snow right through the year on some of the higher peaks. The rest of the mountains have snow for about 9-10 months of the year. Good skiing too if your into that sort of thing. Nice looking scoot - happy scooting Kiwiscoot

Now then I was called an old goat, but I think I must only be a kid at 47! LOL Just wait - the scoot-a-mow is coming. Could not get a shot a shot at it today as went to the farmer's market on the scoot with the better half on the back (use her as bait as the bright pink jacket makes the cagers careful). Got really nice goat's cheese and other cheeses, Dukkas, olive oil and bread!! Did another 100km trip and had a nice picnic. That's live on two wheels for ya! kiwiscoot - working on that scoot-a-mow aka mow-a-scoot.

But wait - I'm a tolerant man and can empathize with your lawn-mowing frustrations. You thought here was the solution, only to realize it eludes you because of goat (oops! - sorry this key-board plays up-typed old) knees.
Wait I have the design for a "mow-a-scoot" or a "scoot-a-mow" whatever you want to call it. Unfortunately it is to wet to take a photo of it today, but just hang on I'll do it as soon as the weather permits.
Kiwiscoot - in the mood to fix a problem of the world! from cold, dark & wet "Down Under".
