It is pretty much te same as for photos. 1.) Open a www.photobucket.com account if you don't have one. Log in to Photobucket. 2.) Upload your video just like you do for a photo. 3.) When you move your cursur over the thumbnail of your video a box will open below it. Copy the "IMG Thumb" code and paste it into your message post. This gives a thumbnail like this in your message. Hope his helps. happy video-scooting Kiwiscoot

I found on our 2007 Xingyue/ITA XY150T that the scoot started to leak oil and drink it after going to synthetic oil. I've since gone back to "dino" oil and added an additive that's suppose to stop oil leaks. Seems to have done the job as the oil does not leak out anymore and doesn't dissapear either. Since then I've read that some older cars had the same problem when going to synthetic oil. The oil seals shrink in the synthetic oil and leak. Don't know if ours has old style seals as it was probably manufactured sometime between 2006 & 2007. I'm going to stick to dino oils for it and just change them every 2000kms. happy scooting Kiwiscoot

Some of the issues with lowering suspension are: 1.) difficult, especially front 2.) potentially unsafe as it changes the whole geometry of the suspension. 3.) unsafe side effects like bottoming out on bumpy roads 4.) scoot bottoming out over speed-humps 5.) scoot's bottom catching during turns upsetting the scoot and throwing the rider. 6.) costs as one mod needs another, then another.....
IMHO, get another secondhand seat and modify it. Then come selling time you can sell it to a wider market, custom market and factory standard market. just my 2c.... hey same thing happened to me - now I'm on a SYM Citycom 300i Kiwiscoot PS - time for education on those boots too - as one don't wear shoes/boots to look pretty on a scoot, but to protect your feet and ankles should things turn nasty. Nothing wrong IMHO with those boots - only few years ago the rage in fashion looked like that around here.

That looks like a beeper or a siren. Perhaps your scoot has an alarm (mostly bad news from what I've seen on this and other forums). Runs the battery down. Perhaps your scoot is plug and play like in you go thru the scoot and plug everything back in where it's suppose to go and then you'll be able to play..... You'll get there and have the peace of mind that you know the scoot like the inside of your hand.

The Xingyue/ITA 16inch scoots run a 906-22.5-30 belt which may be better for you.

Dr Pulleys manufacturer Unionmaterial told me the same thing when I asked them about lubrication of the rollers/sliders. The material that the sliders are made of is self lubricating. They should go in dry. Regarding the variator tracks, I've seen adverts for ones with teflon covered tracks and backing plate. Happy scooting Kiwiscoot

But let's be clear here Kiwi.....it IS still winter. Am I correct on that? Is eartquake a native word? Rich No just a native typo, but earth quakes are for real here. Hundreds every year, luckily most so small we don't notice them.

IMHO one should check the front ones every oil change or 2000kms as just checking them at intervals can cause problems from my experience. Manuals tend to suggest to replace them once they are down to 2mm, but I find that does not give much mileage as the pads are only 5mm new. I replace mine when they are 1mm (whatever that in in inches). One's riding style can change and checking them at intervals can cause them to wear out before you notice it. happy scooting Kiwiscoot

Luke, that looks like a fantastic ride - not as somber and bleak as the others you sent me as a teaser. haha. Would love a bit of heat here, rain, wind, snowing on the hills, cold wet and I have a Civil Defence eartquake excersize tonight! It will be a cold dark wet night. - oh well -the days are getting longer they say. Kiwiscoot

Check that sidestand switch. It lives in the muck, dirt & wet from the road. You can trace it's wire and just bridge it out at the connector & see if your problems go away. Next would be cutout switch at the handlebars. Overzealous owners who wash their scoots to thorougly gets water in there and corrosion. Get switch-cleaner at an electrical place. Spray into the switches and work them. That should restore them if they are not to far gone. Me , I'm just lazy and will start with the switches as it is the easiest. They need TLC anyway. I spray all my new scoot's switches and connectors with silicon spry to keep moisture out. Good luck & hopefully you'll be happily scooting soon kiwiscoot
