went on a 3 day trip going west of AZ towards San diego Ca. via julian pie /awsome 587 mile ride. lots of twisties. need to rest and get some famous julian apple pie,,yummy/ the town of Julian will have a 4th of july celebration at 12nn, need to rush, they're closing the road./ temp on julian was 65f need to stop in the middle of the desert, yah know, if nature calls you need to reply, after all, cactus need some watering too. don't you know that?lol!! that is on Ca78 after julian mtn,so were talking 104 to 108F. here, need to take off that freakin' jacket. here's the GPS mounted on morph handlebars, thought it looks neat this kept me cool!! strawberry shake,,it's empty, and still 120miles to go. never go on a long ride without one./ kept my fingers relaxed total mile trip. at 4000ft elevation,i encountered thick fog for about 15 miles and temp went down to almost 58F. unbelievable gas price! but what can i do,need to gas up,my gas gauge is blinking,. 70% of the trip was nothing but sand dunes, chipmunks, cactus and high heat... love it!!! this was in San Diego beaches, finally got the chance to put up my tent in front of the beach. ,,oohh so relaxing Finally had my well deserved afternoon nap. /this was in Mission Beach San Diego. ... hope yah like my pics!! and hope i put a smile in your face in my own little way. :)thank ya'll!!!!

Thanks for sharing! That's exactly the sort of trip I want to take, if I can get the misses to ride with me.
So, who was the photographer?

Rich LOL! yupp!! that's meee!!! my first ever long ride with the morph. /back hurts, they say it's gonna hurt on the abdomen since the windshield is low,but nope, it hurts in the back few inches below the neck. runningslow, wife was taking the pics, and she massages my back every 30miles. next destination= :Lake Havasu/labor day weekend.

Luke, that looks like a fantastic ride - not as somber and bleak as the others you sent me as a teaser. haha. Would love a bit of heat here, rain, wind, snowing on the hills, cold wet and I have a Civil Defence eartquake excersize tonight! It will be a cold dark wet night. - oh well -the days are getting longer they say. Kiwiscoot

But let's be clear here Kiwi.....it IS still winter. Am I correct on that? Is eartquake a native word? Rich
