Fido, See if you can get me the info on the chain tensioner. I would like to put one on my tryke. After a short trip the chain has already needs adjustment and I can see that it won't be the height of my day. So see what you can find. Thanks John

Guys back in my motocross days we would buy a chain tensioner that would bolt up to the swing arm. It had a roller that the chain would ride on and a spring that would keep tension on the chain so that it would keep it tight. I am going to look into it and get back to you on it, john

Alley nothing comes close!! I would work all night to get to get it ready for them if I had to. We don't know how well off we have it compared to others. Just think about that when something does break and say i'm still lucky to have what I got!! Thank God. John

Well guys my buddy got his 150 Cyclone finally and me having gotton my 300 Tornado we all thought it was time to bust or Cherry and take a little trip!! With the wife's feeling Brave and us feeling macho we took off for a short highway run. We went North toward Crystal River here in Florida which has hardly any traffic. The bikes ran Great no problems! We stopped for gas and had people coming over to take a look and could not believe the way they looked and price! (They are a good looking bike.) The wind was our biggest thing we found. Pushed us all over the place. Stopped for something to eat and after about almost a sixty mile run we made it back in one piece. The wife's did a good job and toward the end seem more relaxed and the pillow trick that Mike gave me helped with my wife's fear of falling off. Thank you Mike it made the day better for me. The bike with two up did sixty one and 55-58 all day long with GPS. I am more then Happy with that right now, considering the gusts out there. We had a lot of looks all day and the machine's ran Great. When we got home it felt like a day on the boat the wind beat the heck out of us and being new to riding got us all tired. The only thing I see is the chain will have to be tightened up alittle. Well guys thought I would report and say that I made my first short trip and the bike ran GREAT. John

Mike your right. I have mine a short time as you know. I knew what I was getting when I bought it so I have knowbody to hell at but myself. But you know what with all the bad things I have read there is still a lot of good in these Chino bikes. For the price you can't beat them, a Honda Tryke will cost you used 20 to 30 thousand, tell moma that! Yeah things come loose but we knew that going in just check things over and lock-tite. Cheap metal and so forth what you want for the price and talking about price they haven't gone up like every thing else, like gas which this thing doesn't eat. Hey my mirror fell off yesterday while driving, the mirror part what am I going to do Hey I was not happy but then I remembered the mirror fell off my $40,000 GMC Denali also. Then I didn't feel to bad. Things happen but I am still Happy that I bought it. I have made new friends here and am enjoying myself riding when I can. And to me the joy I put on my grand kids faces when I take them on a short ride has already been worth the price! John

Your right there Alley they have no idea how much Pollution cows and pigs make! A GM Rep told me that. They only want to be able to make money. Cutting grass makes Pollution, it's just one big rat race. Like you said they are not worried if your wheel falls off or of stress cracks just make money and then give it to other countries. I better get off this subject before I get in trouble, now I'm pis ed. Good night all,John

Mike I am not raising the deck I am marking so I will have a easy way when I have to tighten the chain. Send me a picture of your air filter tube with the part you got from Home Depot. Don't forget to get that $2.00 spray oil for the chain, remember BLACK LABEL not the White Label, John

Your right Mike I want to mark the rear like we talked about so I have some kind of guide when making a chain adjustment and get all those extra bolts lock-tite that you pointed out. Will have to go to Home Depot and see if they have that weather strip and the PVC thing you told me about for the air cleaner box. I will up soon and take a ride down to you. Got my son's Police Hockey game today ( they are bad, they are better in there police car then skates) so today is pretty much shot. John

Alley what is the secert to getting that 19mm nut off the varirator? Tried impact, nut driver that you hit with hammer and tried to hold the shaft where the pull start is with a pipe wrench but it kept slipping, no good! I guess I need another pair of hands holding. I would like to weigh those rollers for later. In the mean time am put lights on the back will get a photo of it when done. John

Thanks Mike here are a few photo's I took so Alley can take a peek at the reaend. I just wish I could have gotten that Varirator nut loose so I could have checked the weight on them for down the road. My friend has a better air gun and will give that a try.

Alley here are the specs for that charger I told you about, it says on it,charge onley Gel, Sealed or Wet Lead-Acid Rechargeable Batteries. Output 24VDC/4A Constant You think I can use it to charge the scooter battery? Mike I have had a lot of rain up here and then the doctor, just been running around don't know where the day goes and I don't want to drive at night right now until I get the feel of it. Also any runs that I have done are close just to see that I don't have any problems breaking down. Heck if you want to come up tell me a day (not tomorrow) and we can hook up. I will PM you my number, John

Well I figured out where the little chrome buttons go. They go on top of the hold down bolts for the handle bars. They snap into the allen head nice and tight and finish it off. Mike I got everything all registered and plate can go anywhere now. I went to Progressive they were high I pay $167 a year but I have everything on it.
