I have a 2011 Jonway YY250T Scooter that has blown one of the headlights. Instead of just replacing the bulb, I want to upgrade to a HID setup. I'm not sure what bulb base I have so I can order the correct part. The part number of the existing bulb is MC-54-250-02-03-01. This link will show the bulb that I currently have and if someone can tell me what type of bulb base to order that would help out a lot. www.roketapartsdept.com/catalog/MC_54_250_ELECTRICAL_PARTS-605-1.html The bulb that I have is in the 3rd row of the picture, 5 parts items down. Also, does anyone know how to take this all apart? I appreciate any help that you can give.

In VA Beach where I am the temp. is usually high 90's and very high humidity. I wear an Under Armour skull cap under my half helmet. It's the same thing that football players wear to keep their heads cool. It works well for me.

Hi! New member here. I just bought a new 2011 Jonway YY250T Scooter. I found your site when I was having problems with overheating. That was an easy fix due to a cracked coolant hose. I've been reading the forums saw the posts on the HID upgrades which I plan to do within the next month or so. I saw the post by "damin69" under the 'Memorable Posts' section in regards to the upgrade and I think I will follow that one since he shows the YY250T scooter. On my plastic headlight protector, it's stamped S2 35/35. Would the same H4 sockets be the best conversion? Also I want change out the rest of my conventional bulbs to LED. I saw a few posts on that and hopefully the same bulbs will fit the 2011 model. Any idea on a way to find out which engine is mounted in my scooter? I appreciate any help you can give. By the way I have almost 400 miles on this as I ride it to work everyday that I can. My top speed is 60mph with at lot more throttle to go. Maybe I will take it on the interstate when I get a little more comfortable with it.
