Hello all, well I found that fuel problem. Thought I had it fixed by accesing the gas tank and finding the sender gasket out of place! But no!, heres some tips tho, Ya cant get the fule tank out of the frame without removing the cooling fan, I didnt go that far as if you take both frame rails off ,you can move the tank to the right and prop it on the left side with some wood blocks, this allowes you to remove the fuel guage sending unit, on mine the rubber gasket was out of place, so I let it sit in the sun till good and soft ,then stuck it into the sender in the place its supposed to be with a lil permatex to hold it. Also the sender float was sticking because Charlie Chan pressed the pal nut on the shaft to hard! AH-SOO, just rap the shaft with the handle of a ratchet and it frees it up. OK BUT I put tank back and filled it up . Ta DAAAAA, here cames 5 buck a gallon hi test out of the metal ring that the sender locks into!!this was supposed to be sealed to the tank But good ol Charlie Chan didnt seal it right! AH SOOOOO, so I drained the tank below that level and covered. the scoot up. Sent an e-mail to (POWERSPORTS MAX) a mounth ago and no reply NORMAL, they only give ya 30 day parts warranty. Anyway Im going to rip the tank all the way out and J-B weld that ring J-B weld is the only thing I have fount that can seal gas leaks. Ok so thats my story and Im stickin to it LOL. Poppajon. l

Found that coolant leak!, you have to take the body panels off or you cant see a thing!!!. It was the hose from the radiator filler to the recovery tank, Charlie Chan left the overflash from the plastic molding process on the pipe nipple!!! AH SOOOO! clamp couldnt seal the hose over that!!. So I took off the tank and cut off the ridge of plastic ,put it back on , cut 1/2 inch off the hose as there was enough to do that and whala, no more coolant leak!. Just thought I would pass that on, Oh yeah the scoot is an 07 leftover I got this spring.. and I used a stronger spring type clamp, the one ya compress with a pliers!.

;D OK guys and girls heres the poop!, Toilet paper works great! LOL, hey OOP I got the POOP, LMAO, Anyway , I ripped the both side panels off and then figured out how to get the top cover over the gas tank off without taking off all the rear panels!
Keep in mind that that black plastic is still flexable at 68 degrees!! got a clear view of the fuel tank radiator and hoses also the coolant recovery tank. OK the whole top of the gas tank from the sending unit back, wasnt wet, BUT, the road dust was gummy and oily! ah ha!!!, now that the tank is down below that level, its not really seeping out anymore, looking into the tank thru the filler neck its about 1/2 tank down, gas guage still stuck on full, remember I havent been on the road all this time!. Looks like charlie chan screwed up the sender install, AH SO!, Im going to pull the right side frame rail off and the tank should slide out. then pull the sender and check it out, its like an oldercar type you know the round ring ya have to punch around with a screw driver to seat it. Now to the TOILET PAPER!!!I also had a coolant leak that got worse, it was the recovery tank and I tracked it to the hose connection going to the rad filler from the nipple on the tank! looks like a week spring clamp. that was a good tip on the TP!!!. OK I gotta throw an exhaust system on the car this weekend , from manifold back all new with a Heartthrob Monza system from the new cat back!. shouls sound nice Hope it picks up some MPG, catch up with yall later, Poppajon. Thanks for everything guys, Hey Alleyoop Im LMAO HAAAAAA!!!! ,you and I would get along great I think LMAO!!!. I have to say your trike looks great, looks like my JCL from the side with a trike rear end!, hey toilet paper is good for all kinds of CRAP huh! LMAO HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! , omg takin a break HAAAAA.. OK im back, Herese the latest, checked out the enricher, it runs 5.0 VAC at start up and builds to 7.2 VAC after a few mins, it will feel hot it has 2 screws on its hold down bracket one of mine was loose , tightened them up and it now warms up perfectly! and it does shut off,so thats ruled out. took off that right side panel and therese the fuel pump and spark plug access!!. ran the scoot then checked vac line at carb fitting dry checked at pump dry!, so im ruling that out. I can see the whole bottom of the bellypan and its just dusty no runs drips or errors HA lame huh, lol,,OK so I think Im going to put her away for the winter as its startin to get cold over here, In the spring I will put my small gas jug in the tronk reset the tripmeter and go till I run out of gas! then Ill know how many miles I can get out of a full tank. even tho its only got 42 miles Im going to change the oil befor lay up. OH Guys I know are saying to take all the gas out and run it dry, Ive never done that of any of my power things, and Im now using the Sea foam additive I just dose um good and run um and put them away, never had a problem! prolly drain the carb on the scoot as it has a carb drail. Hey yalll have a good winter , will keep in touch Poppajon...

Hey thanks for the comeback Barnie! I havent had a chance to do much on the scoot but I went out this eave to plug in the batt tender, I had a boobytrap on the gas cap and it was still as I left it. But looked into the tank and Its down even more???, Nothing on the ground and no fuel smell??, Checked the oil same level and no gas smell??? The scoot hasnt run in 2 weeks! I saw where the fuel pump is and will pull that panel to check it out. I wonder if the gas is from a bad fuel pump diaphram, dripping to the carb vac hose and dowm to the oil pan then evaporating along its merry way???.
I will figure this out!!!! just need time. I didnt pass the 1989 NAISE tests for nothing! HAAAAAAAAAA later guys Poppajon...

Ok guys thanks for the help so far. I checked the enricher as far as I could befor dark. checked continuity of enricher coil first , got a good reading, therse a third wire in the enricher coil circuit?, anyway got a good reading almost a short , like 30 ohms, started the bike and only got 003 volt on the DC scale. the coil got hot like it should, carb and all els were cool. Im going to try the AC scale tomorro I hope. maby they run AC power to it??. its a lerning process I guess. ALLY OOP do you know what side of the engine the fuel pump is on??. I hate laying down under the bike as its hard to get back up! LOL..
