mine wont idle that high on cold start lucky to git it to start and run 1000 then after a moment its start (rpm) to climb up little by little till it git to 2000 bo

yes i held it myself.yes i know where the idel screw is. if i had let go to git the scew driver it would have died so i just helt it ---ill be back on in11/2 hr itt church time and got to go bo

i forgot something does that stem suck all the way up till it dead ends and cant go no father if it does that the problem mine dont it like about 1/8 0f in.coming up to where it cant go no futher bo

i held it at 3000 to make it get hot quicker or it would have idel at mayme1000 till it started to git hot .itook the enricher out hook it up to another batt and it run out or extended all the way out and it took 4min.-----what make these scooter fast idle mine dont have fast idle either----------------thatk bob for the c clamps it works got them out and thanks to you alleyoop for the web site my value stem will be hear tomorrow and thanks for all the help you are doing for me bo

i let it idel about 7 to 10 min.till it got hot didnt take long at 3000 in 60 degree weather and it 70 in my shop bo

ok went back to garage started up ran 300 rpm fast idle wouldnt kick off so i gas up to 7000 rpm something hit the celin look and value stem come out of rim sometime it is best to stay in bed.now you going to tell me i got to pull the clutch- variator andall that stuff on left side to git wheel off. will reg value stem fit or do i got to git one that fit a scooter rim bo

the spark plug was a little blacker than what i like..just figure out why it wont start when its cold

alleyoop i went back through it .ck vaules--ck spark plug--started it up let it get hot noticed the tack was jumpiing up and down 100 below 100 above 2000 so i look for a vacumn leak couldnt find one so i took the manifold off put hi-temp gook on it.that help but it dont make no differance if run air mix screw all the way in or very little cant tell by my tack i think it mess up on fine tuning.i can rib the motor up to 7000 rpm let go and it come back to 2000 and idel perfect bo

ans to #1 no baskfire--no poping--nofarting real smooth #2 2,000 rpm bounch up/down maybe 25 to 50 rpm # 3 hold idel #4 vacuum pump--sits up front below carb i bought this 3mo ago and have only ridding it 14 mi. other than moving it from barn to grage 3 times just wont to git it the way it should be it has 1700 mi. on it.i can live with it the way it but would like for it to be right bo

its not got a o ring on it. that where i got the c clamp.and it will be about 4 to 6 wk befor i git back working on to cold on this mnt.top in tn. beside i got a rotika im working on.thanks for the help i will do this as soon as i can while its still cold to see if that fixes it

2008 linhai Yamaha 250 what keep this thing from starting in cold weather? values are set 4 intk 8 ex. enriches working good but it dont fit tight in carb.its loose. carb got gas cant figure it out.this is my first scooter its got 1350 miles on it.once it starts it is hard to keep running. start die. start die. when hit does stay running got to give it throttle or it will die.wont idle till temperature gits 1/2 way or close to it.idle at 2000 rpm.no fast idle or does it have fast idle
