Fuel gauge

I got a chance to work on my gas gauge some today before it got to hot ( 88 degrees )The tank is full of gas and after I ran the wire down inside of the tank the gauge is now showing full I never did catch the wire an float. Must have ( jiggled something around on the float this leads me to think the problem is with the float, I think I can remove the seat and the sending unit is directly under the seat on the tank and it looks like it only takes a half turn and its out, dont see any screws that holds it on. kalee

I have adjusted the valves to .003 ins and turned the fuel air screw as advised above, but the bike is still not going. It just turns over, but does not start. Does anyone have any more suggestions? Pull your spark plug out and put the plug wire back on and ground it to the head an see if its firing okay, I had the same problem with my 250CC jonway kalee

Alley, I know i have ask you this question before but seem to have a memory lapse . How do I tell how many gram's a set of rollers or single roller should weight? These will be in a MCP 250cc scooter. A buddy of mine here in the park has YYMCP 250cc scooter and he tells me that the mechanics have done every thing to this variator and it still chatters when he takes off. It will smooth out after he reaches speed, I was wondering if a set of sliders would solve this problem and if so what weight should they be ? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks kalee
