couldn't get it started, the enricher needle is out, when i do try to start it a puff of smoke comes out of the exhaust
also with auto choke should you be able to move the needle by hand it does seem that it i can push it back down, it seems to be fully extended when i took it off

i took my scooter out last night over my friends about 20miles round trip was running great, this morning i took it for a ride and ran great for about a mile then at a stop sign the engine slowly start to die and then just stalled, tried to start it again and finally did but was barely running with me holding the throttle wide open, ended walking home with it , got it home checked to make sure it was getting gas pulled the gas and vacuum line and put vacuum on it gas came pouring out put everything back on carb and it started, was revving up good and then the same thing almost like it was running out of gas took the bowl off the carb and checked the float it didn't seem to be sticking could there be something sticking and stopping it from getting gas or clogged jet maybe just a good cleaning?

are the after market cooling fans better than stock or are the stock ones just as good, was thinking about getting one but don't want to waste money on it if stock is just as good

that is what i thought, but wasn't really sure if that could cause a soft seize, i did run it like that a couple times while testing it out and didn't seem to have a problem with it until today, my neighbor who has 2 stroke quads said that wouldn't make a difference but i wasn't sure about that

i just bought a used scooter and decided to go with bbk, it is a 2 stroke, seemed to have the jetting and air/fuel good spark plug was good color seemed to be running good, took it for a little bit longer ride today and it soft seized, managed to get it home, could it have happened from leaving cooling shroud off while taking the ride or could my oil mix be bad i am running at 40:1,was going to put cooling shroud back on after i had it tuned and running good, i am running 95 jet with stock air box and after market pipe

if it is a small hill it just goes right over them bigger hills it just seems to loose power rpms and speed drop it doesn't really sound like it is bogging but more of the engine just slowing down as it climbs the hill and some times when i let of the throttle it seems to have to build rpms back up again, it doesn't hesitate at all when this happens and other than that the take off is good and driving on level ground is fine.

right now i am running 4 gram weights, i was thinking maybe the clutch was not closing the way it was slowing down and losing rpms going up hill, i do have some lighter weights that i can try and see how it works out.
