I have run the vehicle history. It wasn't stolen, but I think it may have been traded for illicit drugs. I have checked the fuses, they are all good. I am no mechanic, but I will have to find out if there is power at the starter...

I got the seat opened. I put a jump box on the battery and the fan sound came on. The electric start does nothing. I'm getting somewhere, but not sure about the electric start.

This may be way above my level of money wasting. Not being able to find schematics or manuals, I am not sure how this thing disassembles. The seat is locked down. The keyhole is empty by the seat. The ignition switch freely fell into the cavity near the forks. I would love to fix and ride, but with all the damage, this may be scrap material.

I have run it down to be a Shenke Motors Nemo-250. It is pretty much the same as a Jonway. I have looked it over and found that the ignition switch has been removed (noticed this at dark). The seat lock is missing as well. The only keyhole is what I think is the gas tank enclosure. The cowling is broken, the windshield is missing. It has about 620 miles on the odometer. It is a 2008 model. I need front blinkers, bulbs, etc., but before I get into trying much else, I want to see how someone started this. I don't know if it was "hot-wired", or what. I just know nothing about them at all. There is no Haynes manuals for these, I can't find body parts online. It is a project that may have me asking a bunch of questions. I will try to post a picture of two if I am not laughed out of the forum. It was really cheap, so my cost is minimal. Thanks.

Well I just got a wrecked Shan (Shen) YY250T. I know it ran to the scene of the wreck, but have no other knowledge of the scooter. I have no key. I picked it up from an auction after it was salvage titled. There is a good deal of fairing damage, but it looks like mostly cosmetic damage. I see a lot of helpful people here, and was wondering where to get parts, and first off, where to get a key. Any help for a true greenhorn would be appreciated.
