PM must be broke. LOL Thanks Guys I really want it. I had the two speed version of it back in the 70's. It was fun to tool around the small town I Grew up in. The only down side is I've got Dr bills to pay this month or it would be mine. Thanks again Dave

:)Wow that is a great idea for a modification. I applaud your ingenuity & ability to see a task to completion. We NOW interrupt this post for some Constructive Criticism. Check out some How to video's for WELDING. I really can tell you're self taught...LOL. I bet you get that Poor mig gun Stuck to every thing you weld. You might want to replace the aluminum U channel with one made of steel. As you will soon find the aluminum is too soft for the weight & stress applied to it repeatedly. Not to mention wind shear, bumps & potholes going down the road. I'd hate to SEE your scoot laying on the side of the rode for lack of $6.00 worth of steel. Also IT appears that your bolt is to long for U channel. Which will allow the hole assembly to vibrate, twist & slide around.(Add your own Dirty joke here) Spacers are recommended. Just trying to help. Dave

If you have an impact wrench that is what just about everyone uses to take the nuts and put them back on again. This is the REDNECK WAY(HAHA). Alleyoop YUP. That's the REDNECK WAY. Alley I didn't know you had it in ya. That was a good one... Dave

Once again you where 100% right. My next question would be can I get just the broken brake pad-looking things or do I have to get the whole assembly and also where would be the best place to find them? I guess I need to know where to get the gasket for the cover also. Thanks again. On some the pads are replaceable. I personally don't think your's are. Sorry.... Dave
