It should be here early next week, I'll let ya know how it goes. Who knows maybe I'll even try and make a video about putting it back together (maybe).

Thanx again guys, you people are freaking awesome. I'm going to shop around on-line for a bit and I'll post some of the results in case any future readers can use the info. I have to say to anyone that is thinking about undertaking this type of thing that it's not nearly as difficult as I had thought it would be (at least not so far). I'll get back to everyone with the results and how much it cost me to "do it myself", with the help of Alleyoop & dragonsparks.

Once again you where 100% right. My next question would be can I get just the broken brake pad-looking things or do I have to get the whole assembly and also where would be the best place to find them? I guess I need to know where to get the gasket for the cover also. Thanks again. Attachments:

Start it up and see if the rear wheel spins at idle if so then your CLUTCH is not releasing the bell and you should take the CLUTCH off and see if something broke to keep the pads engaged on the bell. Alleyoop I think you have hit the nail right on the head. I started it up and let it idle and the wheel did slowly turn (it idles kind of low). So I guess my next step will be to remove clutch and look for what you mentioed. I will get back and let you know what I see. Thank again, I think that this is the best scooter forum that exist.

Actually, I meant to say thank you first, then ask about how to do that. Lol.

You would have a link to a video or something that might show me exactly how to do that would you?

Hi everyone. I have a Toa Toa 50cc scooter and drive it to work and back. When I got home today I noticed that the rear wheel is very stiff and almost doesn't want to turn when it's off and on the center stand. I took the tire/rim off and the brakes are fine. Any ideas on what the issue may be? I'm guessing I shouldn't try and drive it but I do use it to get back and forth from work. I've had it for almost a year and was starting to really like it until now, lol. Any suggestions anyone? I need it for work, ugh. . . . Any help would be greatly appreciated.
