Well pulled the shocks off. If you put these shocks on a car I don't think they would compress. I'll cut a couple of coils off and see what happens. The shocks have very little resistance in both directions .Hey Alleyoop tomorrow I'll measure the length expanded and retracted and if you would measure your shocks I would appreciate it. I'll have a starting place to find a softer combination.

Thanks Alleyoop. I can't understand why they put such heavy shocks on 50cc scooter. Also I have the four brackets on the rear frame. I'll do some measuring and see if I can get shocks better suited for the weight this light scooter.

I have 2013 IB Trike two in the rear. The coil over shocks do not work. When traveling over bumps holes etc. I just fly of the seat. I had a 250 pound person bounce up and down on the seat. The frame flexed and the shocks only move about 1/2 inch. It's brutal on the body . The coils are adjusted to lowest setting . Need lighter springs are they available and where. Thanks scooterbob.

What happens if you install a dished piston. Flat top or a domed piston. If you take 350 CI engine and bore it .030 you end up with a 355 CI engine. CI and CC is just one part of building HP. You need to add other parts to achieve horsepower and horse power is what your looking for. Forget CC size and add components that build HP. If you build it right you could add a little nitro to bump up the HP a lot.

I Don't know about the math. I do know that the piston I put in was twice as big as the 50 cc piston. You have to take in account the high performance cam. and rocker arm, head, valves ,carburetor, exhaust intake and variator weights. This all adds ups to be a scooter that scoots as fast as I want it to. Try it you may like it. Your friend scooterbob round pants. Over and out.

I too played with high end toys. Cost a ton of money and got to be a 24 hour headache I play with small engines and scooters just for me. Not to win or lose just to tinker with no pressure or dead lines and it's all just a lot of fun. Not to mention low $. May we all enjoy the fresh free wind. Oops forgot my CVT works great with 8 gram weights. Scooterbob round pants. I'm old and have couple of loose wires.
