Your brake lights work off the battery, so you have to get a new battery. That is why when you go to start it you turn on the key SQUEEZE the Brake and the stop lights come on then the motor starts. Alleyoop ok....Ty |

theres a switch on the brake levers usually. the 3 wire connection should be your brake/tail light harness. Nice...Ty |

So my 50cc schwinn gy6 has had all the plastic taken off. only the seat and floor board are existent. So I have many wires hanging out. And Im more concerned about the rear brake light working than anything. i do have a few plugs/harnesses towards the rear by the fuel tank. Two of them are just 2 wire plugs/connectors and the third has 3 wires. Im not sure but I cant get a light to light up when I use these plugs. Also My battery is dead? But Im thinking the rear brake light would still function while motor is running? also Im not sure how its activated switch wise? Thanks.....

So I have a auto choke on my gy6 50cc. And Im having a hard time kick starting it. My battery is dead? Any way to make this thing work without it? or is it working? and was wondering if not having a battery effects anything else motor wise? like spark or the cdi?
