My head lites and running lights work off the mag/stator.. Turn sigs, horn, and brake lites work off the battery.. Those lites are fine so too many amps has to goin thru the non-battery powered stuff.. Just thinkin..

I checked and my Battery voltage hovered @ 12.5 Idle and 13.1 about 3000rpm.. In thinkin the stator isnt right for my elec. system..The motor came with this crazy lookin rectifier that wont plug into my system.Pretty much has to be a stator issue right? ( say yes ) LOL

check your voltage at your battery it could be a regulator problem, mine went on my scooter and was blowing bulbs quick checked the voltage at the battery and was 14 at idle if i revved it a little it would shoot up past 17. in my manual it was supposed to be between 13 to 14. i would start with that if that checks out go from there

2006 Sunl 150cc. Did a motor swap .. The old blown-up motor had a 6 coil stator.. Bolted in the new motor, started her up.. Headlites came on brighter than usual.. THEN BLEW! Does that mean I gotta use my old stator in the new motor? I.E. Dont know if the new one has a 6 or 8 coil stator..The harness plugged right in to the new motor.. Am I lost in the Ac/Dc scooter world? I work on cars.. but this junk is freakin me out.. Free 12 PAK to can help..
