Sounds stupid. But you can accidently put a 6 coil stator in an 8-coil flywheel, as the plug-ins on the 6 and 8 are the same, or at least on mine it was...That may be an area to look at.

Try a new coil..and CDI. What pole stator did have ? ( 6, 8, or 12 )

I meant to say.. After my belt broke, I stuck a new belt on without checking the variator... the weights had flipped, and the scooter was like running in 10th gear on take off.. reset the weights and was good..

And also.. Those chinese TDC marks are not accurate. I took my cylinder head off and found absolute TDC and adjusted my cam as alley prescribed.. Made my own timing marks on the flywheel after finding ( The Real TDC ) To get the Cam marks right as Alley showed ya . Make sure you dont have a broke tensioner

My header bolts snapped off in the head.. wound up buying a new head.. Good luck with that.. Im gonna buy a real Honda soon.. ( When I hit the Lottery! LOL )

Just a Tid Bit of info I've learned>>> If the belt breaks, those weights usually flip over and if you dont know this, It'll be like stuck in high gear. That was my first bad exp with these rattle traps
