That is a sled. People from the great state of Georgia don't usually have to deal with the dreaded white stuff. You can also see the MB5 in the background.

My wife's eyes popped out of her head when I told her that the 150 was already sold the second day it was posted. I told her, see, sometimes, not always, but sometimes I know what I am doing and she needs to listen more often. She proceeded to sight 3-4 instances that I didn't know what I was talking about. Gotta love women.

Well ladies and gentlemen, I just sold my Roketa 150 for $700 to the first lady to look at it. She was buying it for her 15 yr. old son soon to be 16. She loved it and paid full asking price and I think she will ride it more than he will. What that means is that the profit I made from the Roketa by getting it running right and cleaning it up and making it mechanically sound, paid for the Duke 250 that I paid $375 for with enough left over to buy a new battery and a few other parts I will need. So here it is, my free Lance Duke 250 Rock on dood!!!

Well I had to push it out to my shed as my garage is starting to look like Joe's bike shop and the wife is ready to strangle me. I am charging the battery from the 150 the same way. This weekend, I am going to take the battery out to the shed and put it in. I am then going to pull the plug and turn the motor over. In theory, pulling the plug out will eliminate the compression and allow it to spin over better. That should tell me quite a bit. If that doesn't work, I will try the solenoid trick although the PO says that is a new solenoid.

So I charged it with a charger I have at home at 1.0 amps and got the volts up to about 17. I put it back in the 250 and it turned over two or three times then quit. I took out the battery and put it in my 150 and it started. Also, when I turn the key on, the lights come on before I hit the starter, is that right? I am starting to think the wire is loose on the starter or the starter is bad. The PO although did not tell me much did say that he had a guy look at it and he, "jiggled" a wire and it started. I left the battery in the 150 because I put it up for sale and I want it to start if someone comes to look at it.

So I bought the 250 I have been looking at. The PO was dumb as nails and could not give me and answer about how it quit running. The battery was pretty dead when I looked at it but it did spin over twice so I know it was not siezed. I trickle charged the battery which was new in March overnight and it again turned over twice and quit, now just clicks. Does this sound like a bad ground or bad battery short of pulling it out and taking it to a battery place and having it checked?

Has not been out of the 20's in three weeks with it dipping into single digits at night. That does not include the wind chill.

That was a big time missed blocking assignment. That safety changed the game complexion because it forced Pittsburgh to score a TD instead of a field goal to tie and send into OT. That next to last play, Spaeth and another receiver were crossing in the back of the end zone and Spaeth dove for the ball and missed it. The other receiver would have caught it in stride. I miss Miller.

That was a heartbreaker losing to the Jets. Wasted TOO many opportunities and not having Troy in there definately changed the game for the worse.
