I had a pretty good shake on my front wheel. I took off the weights and put balancing beads in them. It rode smooth as silk. This was common procedure in the early days of the lesser expensive scoots. How much dynabeads do you put in per size tire? Chris

the scooter is my wife's ........she carries a cell phone with my number on it and a flashlight...its not a problem because she works nights and i work days. I do keep her scooter in good repair so i don't have to be interrupted when i am with my girlfriend...............Just kidding about my girlfriend i am scared of my wife LOL, I liked that... I just carry a set of wrenches and allen keys that are sized up with the scooter.. Chris

Chriss , I will be around in the morning , let me know if you want to come . John Thanks John for you local parts supply and meet up. Continuing with the story, Long story short it's running and stronger than it's previous situation. The problem lay within the wiring; with a melted ground, bad stator pickup, ground pole on the stator winding, and insufficient gauge positive side wiring to plugs. All this from just a bad stator meltdown. So what I did was, A lot of pinout testing and I installed a good sourced 8 pole stator, a DC ignition/AC charging performance CDI.. (Yes there are dual phase scooters out there). and a new high brow Gel battery and the scooter fired up and idled stable throughout the 10 min warm up. Gauge is a bit off as is states charging at 13.6 but on an actual meter reads 14.4V. Not a big concern of mine now. With everything I replaced parts wise... This thing is pretty much new sans the body!!! LOL Thanks, Chris M. Black Art Bikes

Get your meter and start looking for a short to ground. Also, do you have a starter relay? No starter relay just a solenoid in the circuit. I removed the kill switch on the side stand and rewired a few things. I made new grounds and cleaned up the existing contacts for the old ones. I will try to start it tomorrow..
