Man, I forgot to stop and pick up a manual fuel valve. I need to take the vacuum petcock off the tank and install a manual valve.

No it's not running yet. I had to go fix a broken water pipe for my sister today. Then I discovered it is leaking oil suspect base gasket. So I gotta tear it down and replace. Man it always something. Roy

Well I made a bracket for the throttle cable. I will modify and reinforce it later as it tends to flex slightly. Roy

Alley, I will make a new mount for the bracket and run the cable to the pulley from the back. Hopefully this will solve both my problems. I will run the cable from the bottom of the pulley to the anchor hole. This will allow the short cable to reach far enough.

Step 3: Fuel tank conversion. Remove fuel tank if necessary. Drill a hole 5mm-6mm diameter in upper wall of fuel tank, or just below the filler neck. Push fuel return line in about 10 mm deep and seal with silicone. I'm not going to drill a hole in the tank. I will use the vent pipe that went to the charcoal canister instead. I have previously eliminated the emission junk. I will drill a small vent hole in the cap. I think this should work.

Step 2: Find a secure place to mount MAP sensor and secure with wire tie. Connect MAP sensor to intake using 4mm tube. In the photo it is the grey hose going to intake. Roy

Starting the installation. Step 1: Replace carburetor w/throttle body assembly and attach throttle cable. I ran into a problem with the throttle cable. The cable bracket on the throttle body is set up so that the cable comes from the front . The way the cable is routed it will have some fairly sharp bends and may tend to bind. Also the end of cable is not long enough to wrap the around pulley. I'm trying to decide what to do about it. Roy

It was a fairly rough winter here with plenty of snow and cold. Didn't get to scoot much. Now it's spring and Its been mostly chilly and raining. Still not much scooting. Next it will be summer, if like most summers in Missouri temps will be hot and humid. Geez, can a scooter rider get a break so I can scoot?

It's a Ice Bear 2010 magnum 300R. It has a couple of nicks and the top of the dash is scratched from the shipping banding. Other wise it looks good. Axles were in perfect condition and the reverse shift lever worked smooth.

I picked this up today. It only has 79 miles on it. It ran good and rode good. I got to a good pdi as the original owner didn't. Roy

I'm not confusing flow rate and pressure. The flow rate is 25l/h. I haven't found the specs. on pressure yet but the pressure regulator regulates it 36.5 psi. So the pump has to supply more pressure than that. Any how this project might be on the back burner for a while. I just made a deal on a 2010 magnum. ;D
