It is the 7th year of riding this Chinese scooter. Still running great and still no problems except for regular maintenance. The seat I will recover, next year. It has shocked me, that it has run so good when everyone elses scooters have given so much troubles. Most trips are about 6 to 8 miles- go to store, get something to eat, ect.. Than there are about two or three trips per year of 250 miles each. It adds up to about 1200 miles per year.

Since mirrors had originally lights on mirrors( turn signal lights). Well, you can see the lights on the windshield now. Thanks Alleyoop.. It is now the 7th year riding it..

It was all cosmetics that broke on the scooter, in a windstorm. It was that a new windshield, new mirrors, helmet cover, ect.. starts adding up. Insurance covered it.

I was testing to see if I could get photo on the forum.. It worked. The dash was knocked over in windstorm, put a crack half the length of dash board and I fixed with JB Weld and than put black carbon fiber wrap over it and looks good.

My 250cc scooter never sucked my wallet. All together, besides insurance money to replace cosmetic parts when it blew over in a windstorm, I only thrown regular maintenance into it. Over 7000 miles on it and still running strong. Chinese don't make bad scooters. People can abuse them by running hard and not giving breaks. I rode from Jefferson City Missouri to Quincy IL.. took breaks about every 40 miles. Made the trip great. Rode a lot of long trips and gave breaks about every 40 miles. But anyhow, these machines are not meant for abuse. Meaning they are expected to have regular maintenance: oil changes, antifreeze checked, gear oil changed, brakes checked, valves checked, ect.. I am working on mine half the time doing maintenance. Maintenance takes time to do. Tear the body panels off to get to a darn plug.. But it has to be done. Maintenance has to be done whether Chinese, Japanese, Korean, ect.. I kept full coverage insurance on it, since owning it.

Your scoot looks like mine, a year ago. It blew over in a thunderstorm. Luckily had full coverage insurance- so was out no money fixing it up..

Might need valves adjusted too. I know mine runs rough in extreme cold temps. I have the Helix engine too. But mine started in 26 degree weather rough and 40 degree weather starts fine. I don't know what to cold a temp for riding is.. It might be 30 degrees. The 20's might be pushing it..
