Stay calm Rich. The "Bikes" he's asking about look like this. www.lexmoto.co.uk/KS125-24.phpA WK 125 is the CF Moto Leader, a fabulous bike. Chinese scooters are not the same as Chinese motorcycles. The motorcycles have proven to be made of much sterner stuff. If you can afford the WK, please do.I see the Lexmoto XTR costs $2016 US Dollars. It will probably be a good bike for you. If you can buy a WK for a little more, do it. I have a Chinese 50cc bike and it puts my Chinese scooters to shame. In five years it has needed two screws replaced, one tail light bulb and one battery. I ride it everywhere and the bike rocks. Considering that the SYM Wolf 150 costs $3,000.00 here, his prices are right on track. OK awesome! I think I'll save up a little more and get the WK, the WK costs 2600$ over here (£1550). And it goes faster + looks great! www.motorcyclenews.com/upload/280990/images/wk-125r-1.jpg Thanks again for your Suggestions and comments! :-)

So I've had my 50cc for over half a year now, and I'm looking for an upgrade as I am now 17... I don't really have a decent budget, I was initially going to start driving or get insured on my mums car but I can't really be bothered. I will only have the bike for a year I guess so I don't want to spend much on it, and due to the short time period I am considering chinese bikes because I doubt they will break in a year and if I can keep it in mint condition it shouldn't depreciate in value much and also they are cheap to buy. I was looking at a wk 125r on eBay, they had a decent review on MCN and hit 78mph which is great for a 125, especially a chinese one, it also looks wicked. Other bikes I am considering, Lexmoto LSM 125, Lexmoto XTR 125. Any suggestions for a reasonably decent build quality and fast budget bike? I have around £1500 to spend in total and a bit more if financing is available. I do primarily want a Supermoto but most chinese ones only just cut 62mph, I know I'm going to get slated for this post due to me wanting a Chinese bike, but it's all I can afford and if I take care of it and don't ride like an idiot, there's no reason why I shouldn't. Please help me and give me suggestions!! Thanks - Fabian.

So, I am very almost near finishing my quest of tuning my bike until I am happy with it, with much help from this forum I have; changed contra spring, changed clutch springs, sorted battery, changed brake pads, bled them and a few bits more, and I'm about to change the rollers, nothing very challenging but it's sorted most the problems out. However I have one more problem, when stating the bike from a cold engine, the bike is very laggy to start of, it doesn't like accelerating unless the engine is warm, and when it rains the problem is worse. It goes but at around 5mph until I either build up speed gradually or it randomly decides to go, it doesn't like it when I increase throttle either and despite full throttle it would still stay at 5mph unless I do it slowly in which case it works fine. Once I have gone for a short ride and parked up for a bit, it is fine after, as if it's a cold engine thing, any suggestions? Thanks

Check that you have fluid in reservoir then pump them up. As in bleed them? Or just undo nipple and pump? The fluid was full, I undid nipple and pumped a bit and now k have some pressure on brake pads, I think I just need to bleed them properly now

I recently noticed an etching on my rear brake pads on my moped/scooter. My friend have also told me that my brake pads will need replacing as they look thin. I bought some brake pads online made specifically for my bike. I replaced them today after following an AA video online. It all seemed OK until I came to put them back on, and they send to be touching the brake already, I've read that this is normal, however when I revved the engine the wheel didn't move at all, after adjusting the process in which I put the caliper back on it seemed OK, only a sight touching now. I pressed the rear brake and there was no noticeable slowing of the wheel, although I could hear dinner contact, also the break lever could now touch the handle bar on the bike, and I could feel no brake contact when applying pressure to the brake, can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Way too many variables to say get this or that. A heavy guy needs different weights than a 98lb fly weight. Yes you will need to experiment. Ok thanks

Doesnt help. Variator and clutch mods make it more difficult to guess. Stock setups are easier to gauge. Ive seen 70cc kits going with 6gr sliders many times. Stock setups 5 to 5.5 grams are popular. So you think I should just do a bit if trial and error?

hello, I've posted on here quite recently regarding my bike, sorry if I seem annoying haha. Basically, I was thinking of ordering some new rollers due to the diagnosis of my bikes problems on this same forum. I was going to get a 9 roller variator set, (just the rollers). And I wasn't sure what weights to get, 5.5g? Thanks Here's the ones I'm considering: pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=300885510716If it helps, I think I have a 70cc kit, not to sure haha, I have a gilera DNA 50, race clutch springs and a current 9 piece variator set. Thanks again

One more question actually, i'm thinking about changing the rollers, I put it a'hard (Race)'clutch spring a while ago, but I have no idea what rollers to put in as I have a 9 speed roller set.. And I don't know how much they weigh? So will this effect the power to weight ratio of I just bought some 'race'ones?

Oh yeah but hang on once you replace it. The deterioration is so gradual so you really dont notice until one day you're like, why wont it go? Put in a new one and your head might just snap off! Could you explain the rattling?
