Been busy past couple of days working on this and thought id show off what it looks like so far and will upload more pics as I make progress. This is a CMC Daytona scooter that was neglected by its original owner and i wanted to give it a new home.

Wont be doing any work on my outlaw anymore.. was at work yesterday and a customer i served ending up reversing into my scooter knocking it over, he hit it pretty hard as he was in a hurry. Did some panel/paint damage, fuel spilt everywhere and worst of all.. damaged the frame. Will upload pics when i go on computer next, using my phone here. So later today im going to pay him a visit at his restuarant he owns (which is not far from my work) I was abit angry yesterday after it happened and felt like punching him so i had to cool off. With the money, im going to spend it on my 2012 Honda Dio fuel injected 110

My previous digital speedo had a yellow/black wire which i wrapped around the coil for the pickup and for it to pickup the speed, uses standard speedo cable

Yeah I love the vinyl wrap, I don't know whether to leave it the carbon fibre look or add a touch of gold vinyl wrap to it..

Same here lol. The only thing that got me was getting the rpm to work.. it came with no instructions so I had a look at the wires that plug into the CDI and found a red/white wire and the speedo has a red/white wire.. extended the wire and wired them together and works like a charm

Ordered this a week ago and it arrived today. You can change the backlight colour by a press of a button. The first 7 pics I took with it roughly sitting in place so don't mind my work lol. The vinyl work I did is alittle rough in some parts (last pic) and will fix tomorrow when theres sunlight... garage light blew out

We go by the litre and i filled the bullet up yesterday, premium (95) cost me $1.68L and normal unleaded (91) was $1.59L. Can go abit higher and get the 98 for around $1.80L. The tgb bullet is great on fuel, it has a 6L tank and did 184km's with still over 1L of fuel in the tank remaining

Thanks, ive only had it on for a couple of months. It use to be on the previous outlaw scooter and took it off when the scoot was wrecked and sat the exhaust in the shed for ages. It does have its own chrome header pipe which is alittle wider in diameter but have to modify it to fit my scoot... one day i'll get around to doing it, although ive had it for 3yrs haha

Thanks Rich and I agree, the engine has a lot of potential like the outer body of the scooter. A few simple things and alittle bit of time can change the look by a big margin. jonwaylover heres the vid, hopefully it loads ok and hope everyone likes the sound of my scoot with the yoshimura titan exhaust. It looked abit faded in this vid as the exhaust is a few years old so I touched it up and looks brand new now
This also has the home made silencer in it to.
