I'm not to discouraged about routine maintenance items, just helps to know what they are. the sheet the dealer gave me and the owners manual says nothing about what I've experienced so far LOL. will make it a part of routine to check/replace belt and veriator rollers and valve adj.

thx alleyoop, took it to the dealer to have belt replaced, I couldn't loosen the nut that holds the drive pulley on. had a cheap harber freight impact wrench, even used pb blaster to no avail

found a plate that has some info:ie spark plug and valve gaps. the mtr is stamped bn 139qmb is that a gy6 mtr

yup I'm in agreement about the warranty but then what warranty is worth a crap anymore. slowly learning how to fix things. spent over 30yrs in industrial maintenance but scooters are a new critter to me

drive belt broke, chewed up veriator rollers. deler fixed it at my expence. said it wasn't covered under waranty. now it starts but when you try to excelerate it stalls. of course the dealer says bring it in we will look at it but valve adj is not a waranty item

no idea what engine it has and can find very little info on it. bought it new 1700 miles ago. have been told it needs the valves adjusted. can not find any info on it. anyone know what clerance the valves should be set at. or where I can find a manual.

name is jim, own a gorilla motor works rx 50. it is teaching me to hate all chineese scooters. only have 1700 miles on it and has broken down twice. yes I've done normal maintenance.
