Okay, so the craigslist posting was deleted, but I just saw a BRAND NEW 150cc GY6 scooter still WRAPPED IN PLASTIC for $375 OBO. That thing was picked up in less than in hour. Never even got a chance to contact him. The thing even ran. ZERO miles. Too bad I couldn't get it anyways. My dad won't let me get one because they require insurance >.<

The pictures were there. It was apparently bought and stored in a shed, never used. The seat still had the plastic coating on it.

Actually that may have been a real steal, one ripped off of the back of a semi. They tend to sell real cheap so they can get rid of them quick. A guy was just arrested for ripping off a brand new bass boat from a manufacturer here worth $72k and sold it to a resort owner for $2k!

the best time to buy scooter is after Fall and during the winter. scooters in CL are dirt cheap. regardless of the brand make and model.
spring is the worst time to buy ,as far as price is concerned.
im talikung about CL deals not the brand new ones

Yes, and it is totally illegal to buy, own, or store stolen goods. They not only take it from you and you get squat back, but they can arrest your arse. They usually arrest and ask questions later, you have to convince them that you didn't know it was hot and they will assume you DID know. You know when you go to get plates and they look at the VIN? Guess what they do? They run the number while you wait. If it's hot a couple of cops come through the doors of DOT. I watched it happen a couple of years ago. They hauled the guy away...and his car. Believe me plant guy, that was one you should be glad slipped away, it reeked of trouble. Rich
