I was trying to start my bike which had been sitting for a week or so without running. I was cranking it over a bit at a time and I heard a Pop sound like a fuse blew or something and now nothing, zero, zilch, nada... I checked every fuse on the thing and they are all fine. Yes, even the main. And two new tires on it yet. What happened? ARGHHH!
I'm really getting a serious case of burn the damn thing from China...

It sounds like a wire opened. When you say "Zilch" do you mean nothing lights, or it won't spin? If you mean nothing I would suspect that a wire at the ignition switch overheated and popped off. If you mean it won't start, have you tried jumping the solenoid? Since it didn't short a fuse I would think something popped, like a light bulb as the filament burns off and makes it flash.

If you turn the KEY ON and you have NOTHING NO LIGHTS NO GAUGES. Then it is most likely the FUSE on the thin red wire coming off the battery. Most people look at it and say looks good to me BUT you cannot see the ends of the thin wire(I AM ASSUMING IT IS A TUBE TYPE FUSE) which are notorious for looking good when they are not.
I SUGGEST GETTING A NEW FUSE there. Alleyoop

Normally when I turn on the key, I hear the radiator fan running and I get some lights and such. Now I get Zero. No fan, no lights, no nothing.
Alley, the main fuse was replaced with a blade type when I did the HID upgrade. Never did like the small glass bus fuses. All my fuses are blade type now. And all of them meter good with a cont check.
Could be the Reg/Rec (AGAIN!), but I'm not sure.
This bike was never the greatest of anything except a stop gap to ride till I can afford my Burgy 650.

So you have a 250 which one? One has a fuse box under the seat next to the battery which gets fed 12v from the battery off the BLACK WIRE from the ignition switch and then the fuse box feeds everything else.
Then you have one that has a 20a fuse right on the SOLENOID which in turn feeds voltage to everything else.
So If you have a fuse box I would check the black wire going to it from the IGNTION switch if you get 12v on the wire then its the fuse box. Alleyoop

My Avatar is my bike. Its the 244 clone. Fusebox SHOULD be good, I redid it and waterproofed all it's connections back when I had to replace it before. Of course that means nothing with this thing. Oh, and the ignition switch is new also.

You need to check if voltage is reaching the IGNITION. A 12V Light tester is all you need really to find out where the break is. Saying you replaced this and that does not mean a thing you are now at the point where some testing needs to be done to find the voltage break.
So if the voltage is reaching the IGNITION then turn the key on and check the black wire going to the fuse box. If nothing then you know it is your IGNITION etc.. Alleyoop

That shouldn't take more than a few minuets with a meter to pin it down. I have had battery connections do that as well as the connection on the solenoid. Snaple/crackle and no more electrical connection, but it looks like still connected.

Yes folks, that's Scooter Doc Forum for all of your nose picking needs. When you think nose picking...think Scooter Doc Forum!! I'm going with shorted out ignition switch. The fan doesn't come on, the horn doesn't work, it's DOA but he's sure the fuses are OK.....it's gotta be the switch....2nd choice...R/R diode melt down. Rich

Third choice is what Borg said. Battery failure.

Why would the fan turn on? Wouldn't the water temperature have to be high enough?
Has this thing been rewired??
