Not to happy right now! Took exhaust off to get to my back brakes and when I went to put it back on the bolt that is in the engine that you bolt exhaust on snapped. So I now only have one bolt on exhaust. Not sure what to do. Thinking I might just jb weld it and use the one bolt. This is not a good night rrrrr

Yes, it happens. Get a bolt extractor. You drive them into the bolt and then turn it out. Or, you may want to just drill it out. If the extractor breaks off in there you'll never get a drill through it. So drill out small enough to miss the threads and it should just about fall out of there.

1 jb weld will not hold any thing with high heat, in,fact that's how you can get it unstuck!
2 One other way to get steel out of aluminum is to dissolve the bolt. You get some alum fron the canning dept at groceries store. mix it long on powder and apply to bolt. Old machine shop trick from before they had edm and several new fangled tricks. Alum does not effect the head if it's aluminum.

I do know about them there new fangled machinists tricks. Rather expensive.
If you have a dremel tool or similar drill a hole in the bolt to release the pressure. And then cut a slot across the end to get a flat screw driver on it. Apply some penetrating oil and then tap on the hand of the screw driver a few times before turning. Patients is the key.

From Wikipedia: Alum is both a specific chemical compound and a class of chemical compounds. The specific compound is the hydrated potassium aluminium sulfate (potassium alum) with the formula KAl(SO4)2·12H2O. (That's the one John is talking about). Here's the article.

Thanks, that is a new trick for this old dog. As a machinist/mechanic I had never heard of such a thing. So I just need to go into my shaving kit.

Its too late for this fix but they sell left handed drill bits for drilling out studs. If you were to use one, quite often the drilling will actually remove the stud with out using an easy out.
