Here's the latest from the dealer/shop. Now it's in writing. "Mike if it’s not 100% I don’t imagine that you will want it! I’d sell it as is to you at a lesser cost or refund you your money. The choice would be entirely yours." They're hoping to have it ready for Friday. Thanks.

I don't like the 'as is' part. At this point I'd take the refund and get something that is problem free.

Oh I thought it was a private seller and the dealer was trying to fix it! That's a different matter. I wondered why the guy paid your transport home, that seemed awfully nice. I don't know, this has rocked on a little too long now, it's making me uneasy. If it was an easy fix I think it would be fixed. Rich

Get rid of it already. You don't even have it yet and it's already giving you grief.

So here's the latest from the shop. "The work that was done is no cost of yours! There was some "fibrous " goop in it. Why? We don't know. But we ripped her apart cleaned her out and I saw for myself that the cooling system was free flowing." So it's getting delivered on Tuesday. I'll hopefully upload some pics. I can't wait to get riding on it. Thanks.

Ya I just got off the phone with shop. So the scooter came to me in Tuesday. Started up great. Took it for a spin. No issues at all. So the driver leaves. I went in the house for 10 minutes and I come out to head for a ride. I got 2 minutes from my house. The scoot just does. No lights, no display. Nothing. I pushed it home. Turns out it was the main fuse. I replaced it. POP. Again. As soon as I turned the key. I called the shop back. They came back an hour later and picked the scoot back up. So I've been emailing them since Tuesday for answers. They kept putting it off of doing a tear down to find the issue. So I emailed them today for an answer. Basically it's still on the trailer. Because they're backed up. I asked for a refund. They're issuing me a 100% refund. Which sucks, and is a relief. Because I'll never find that great of a deal again. I know the shop is already losing money. But I don't think they're willing to drop the price that much more in order for me to keep it. So the search will continue next summer I guess.

Thanks everyone for the advice and tips. I guess I'll be hanging onto my 150cc another season.

So new update. They've come back with an "as is" price. I'm saying $800. Or do I just take my money and run? Thanks.

You have pix of this thing? It sounds like either your Dealer is incompetent as a mechanic or there are a lot of problems with the bike and he just wants rid of it.
I'd tell him that you'll do him a favor and take the problem off his hands for $600. Then get it home and start taking pix and we can walk you thru getting it working correctly.
