It's a bolt on head Pete, valves are installed, comes with gaskets and hardware. I would personally have more trouble with the heli and not trust it once I was done. But who knows, he might drop the cam chain down in the case. Hey Heruk, if you did that you wouldn't swear would you?

Look at the DAMN PICTURE BRO, why do you think I put it up for, you asked what an egr is and I put the picture up. Look at your damn valve cover and see if it has that or not. If it has that YOU need the EGR HEAD if not you buy the NONE EGR HEAD pretty simple dimple.

Exhaust Gas Recycling but it's really the PAIR unit. The head has an opening into the post exhaust valve chamber to allow fresh air into the exhaust gases to help burn unspent fuel (Pulsed Air Impulse Reburn=PAIR). The head has the opening you see at the bottom right:
Here's a non EGR or non PAIR, the opening is blanked out or sometimes that tab is not present at all:
