I have a Roketa 150cc scooter. It has a H4 35/35 bulb. I tried a H4 45/45 bulb and it started to melt the assembly. Is there anything available that would be brighter that operates a little cooler, LED or something? Thanks for any suggestions. I do not want to get into a major project because I don't ride at night very often.

Isn't a led that is brighter than stock going to cost a big chunk of change? With a 50 I would definetly go led as it would be harder to out run the light and stock on them seem to be pretty aneimic. On my old 150 the stock light seemed just barely ok at 40 45mph and not at highway speeds.

Ebay,,,,got mine for $6 plus $2 shipping,,,,great on low beam and a laser beam on high beam,,, 1/4 mile on a flat road .,,,,,,crazy good,,,i run led turn sigs too,,the only problem with them is you need to change to a digital flasher ,,,they don't pull enough power to trip the regular flasher,,,i had a bike with a very marginal charging system,,,went LED head/tail /turn signals/and put a headlite kill switch for starting,,,,BAM!!! instant good starts and bright lights at all times

I agree. A link to these LED bulbs would be helpful.

I have Halogen on my new bike and it is freaky bright. It's nothing like the stock bulbs I was driving on the Roketa. But my headlight case and lens are metal and glass now too...
John, Are those brighter than my Halogens? Would they even fit my bike?
