You may need to hold the beads against the rim edges while you fill with air to get the beads to "pop" into place. Works better with a bigger, higher volume compressor but can be done with yours. Just take a ratcheting cargo strap, run it around the circumference of the tire and ratchet it down as tight as you can get it. Then apply the air. The idea is that the strap will hold the bead edges to the rim tight enough to allow the air to fill the tire faster than it can leak out. Keep filling till the beads "pop". You may have to use a long screwdriver as a "cheater" extension on the ratchet handle to get it to tighten enough.

Well I took the compressor out of the box and its not the one in the add that had decent reviews. I wasn't looking to spend a lot on this thing so I selected: www.walmart.com/ip/Motor-Trend-Cpm-0610-110-Volt-AC-Home-Air-Compressor/23841746The one I got looks totally different than in the picture, has half the length air hose and power cord and looks like a cheap plastic fisher price toy. I turned it on for a second and it was so loud I'm sure it could be heard up the street and sounded like a cheap motor hitting cheap plastic. I held it against my face while on and it felt like someone blowing on me. The box says inflates a care tire in 4 min. I'd be shocked if it inflates a scooter tire in 30 min. and I'm not even going try for fear of it not working. I don't want this tire even a tiny bit off the rim for any longer than I have to. The only thing I can imagine it being good for is blowing up a beach ball or a cool air hair dryer for a hamster. LOL. this is what they sent me i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NjAwWDYwMA==/z/qMQAAOSwQJ5UUF8X/$_35.JPGIt looks even cheaper in person. So I'm returning this thing and I ordered a better one. I sent walmart a quick message about sending the wrong thing after I realized it happened to someone else in the review too and it wasn't just a one time error. Damn it. I was actually in the MOOD to get this down on my scooter and that's rare. I decided to go with this. I didn't want to spend a bunch on a compressor I'll use once or twice in life so I went for one with good reviews that will also jump my jetski battery if needed ( they charge $50 at the marina for this ) and you can plug things in if your power goes out ( good for phone charging, computer, tv for a little bit during weather emergencies / power outages ) . www.walmart.com/ip/Wagan-400-Watt-Power-Dome-Jumpstarter-with-Air-Compressor-and-5-LED-Utility-Lights/10928402Okay so when the new compressor arrives I'm going to make myself get it done 24 hrs from the time it arrives. No excuses

I could just ride around and jump people all day and make a good living...
Yeah, I know I left that wide open. Only because Bash has a dirty mind and needs to vent it on occasion....

Guitar man. I chuckled before I continued reading where you said " Yeah, I know I left that wide open..... " My mind is probably dirtier than most men lol. Drahken - they probably understand the middle finger in English lol Guitarman you could ride around making a living doing that here. Many people ride around and make a living doing things selling/cutting coconuts, fixing bikes, fixing scooters, fixing jetskis, ect... a friend of mine who is a very bold no holds barred writer, wrote this article about professions in Miami. I love it and couldn't agree more.. www.miamibeach411.com/news/question-never-ask

Straightbangin, nothing a woman could come up with would surprise me anymore. I learned at an early age they are far more imaginative than us simple minded men.

Read the article. Sounds cool. Sounds a lot like Hawaii. Except here you better have some kind of steady income or you're gonna be living under the freeway bridge.

Freeway? You have a freeway? From the news I'd of thought all you have are lava flows.

make sure if you pull angled ones through, that they dont go around, and hit stuff. point them out. out in a direction either left or right that they dont bang into stuff as they spin around. and buy something besides chinese valve stems to replace chinese valve stems with. if you can find something.
