First I thought we were talking about a joke! If you ride regularly and it needs a charge we are talking about a bad battery or charging system, just as others have said. Unless you have a computer driven smart charger you will kill your battery leaving it on all the time. (Exception) I have a cheap he trickle charger on the boat battery, but is impossible to over charge a battery that big with a charger that small THE AGM ones that you do not add water to can get boiled away easy.

Get a smart charger like a Battery Tender JR and you won't have to think about it.

real cold 2 weeks get a multimeter and see what the volts is at. 12.8volts i think is fully charged. 12.5 is still good and 12.under that i think 12.3 especially, recharge it.
