I was looking for an antifreeze/coolant leak that was occurring and I must of messed with something wrong because now my scooter won't start.
I posted a pic of what I think is what's causing it.
When I try to start her up (electric start) that Volt thing makes a loud pop noise.
And where does that connector go to? I think that's the issue. I took apart the side covers to the bike and the feet area and I cannot find anywhere that goes to.

That type of connector does not come standard on a Chinese bike. That looks to me to be a quick connect for a trickle charger.
That's a bad angle in the pic on the volt thing but that appears to be your solenoid. Jump the two large terminals with a screwdriver and if it turns normally it's a bad solenoid. Here's how it works normally:
Here's how you jump it:

That is a plug for a battery tender,,, to trickle charge the scooters battery,,,, you have quite a few things on the battery posts,,, check all those connections first,,, then I would also check those fuses ,, that's where I would start

Not trying to steal his post but my solenoid is going out too and makes a weird sound before it turns over the starter. Did the screw driver test with the key in the ignition turned to on and put the screw driver over both ends and it turned the starter.

Woot! the screwdriver thing started it. Jeez I've been going crazy trying to start it. Can I use that to start my scooter until I order a new solenoid or will it damage the bike?
Also I realized that one of the large looking anti-freeze/coolant tubes is disconnected. The only area I understand coolant connections is the radiator filler cap which is looking good with connections. Is there a diagram of where the tubes are supposed to connect to the rest of the scooter? Or at least the biggest of the few?

For Adam: Well what happened? You don't have to turn on the key to run the solenoid jump test. When you jump the solenoid it is just like taking the red cable and black cable and touching them together, it makes a direct connection from the battery to the starter. What this shows is if you jump the solenoid and it turns, the starter is OK. The only thing turning the key on does is allows the bike to start from the solenoid jump. Look at the diagram, all a solenoid does is make a connection from the battery to the starter when you hit the button. It should spin the starter key on or key off.

Cordinb, yes you can jump it to start it. As I pointed out to Adam, that's exactly what the solenoid does. Of course, it's better to get a solenoid. We need a picture of the hose in question. Do you have the vertical engine? I can get you a manual to go by which includes coolant routing. Rich

Rich is correct,,, the solinoid is always hot on the battery side,,, real old cars had no solinoid but a foot button or pedal you stepped on to make the connection

I had to google a scooter vertical engine. It looks like what I have. There's pretty much nothing flat on the engine, everything sits on top of another.
Sorry I'm a newbie :/

That's fine bud, we were all new to this at one time. It's simple, the vertical engine points up and the horizontal points from front to back. This manual is for your engine but not your bike. But the routing should be similar. I can't imagine what hose is off, you'd be shooting coolant everywhere. How about a pic?

It's called premature excitation and is nothing to be embarrassed about....but I just simply cannot look at you right now.

Is there a T just like the 150cc scooters have with the vacuum lines?
