Afternoon Boys, new guy here.
Got the Wife a Huzhon daixi 2009 trike and I can't get the darn seat off to adjust the idle. I put the key in and turned it to the left, I then jumped up and down on the seat, but still can't get to come off. What is the secret to it??

You mean it won't pop up to get to the bucket? Are you sure the release isn't a key lock on the left side rear just under the seat? I'll transfer this to trikes and get Alley to look at it. We'll get you fixed up. Rich

"Are you sure the release isn't a key lock on the left side rear just under the seat?" No I'm not, I think I better go look now. A guy that worked on it before told me to put the key in the ignition and turn it to the left as I push down on the seat. That didn't work.  |

My SYM uses an ignition key release but you don't push down, you simply turn the key to the left and the seat pops up. If there's no lock on the left side panel can you get a pic of the ignition lock?

No it's not on the left. Try just turning the key in the ignition to the left without pushing down on the seat. Don't force it too much.

If your seat pops at the ignition there should be a little symbol of a seat popped open to the left of key vertical.

When I turn the key to the left and even push in on it, I don't hear a click and the seat won't lift. Shouldn't I hear a click or some kind of noise if/when it unlocks??  |

I meant your ignition key slot. What does it say just under open on the left? What is the opening to the right that says open shut?

Yes, it should click with the key turning to the left and the seat should pop. If that's the way it does it. Do you have a manual?
