what is the differance in rollers and sliders? interchangeable? 1p39qmb stock weight?

Huge difference in opinion on sliders or rollers,, the thought was since rollers develope flat spots it means they are dragging and not rolling anyways,,,, some builders swear by one camp or the other,,, Sym uses a conical roller and they are probably making the best scooter in all of scooterdom so pick your camp

Also there doesn't seem to be a stock weight.....they use what ever they have. There are some used more than others. Take yours out and weigh them and go from there. If you need more take off go lighter, if you want more top speed go heavier.

scootrscott, cyborg, jct842 Hi just went though this same problem what weight do I have? you have to weigh them, so I took the advice of the guys on this forum that know and purchased a gram scale. found one on ebay for $9.99 and no shipping worked like a charm, mine were 12 grams you can't make a good chose if you don't know where to start.well theirs my two cents worth .get a scale. good luck.

Thank you all SO much! I learned alot. I am going to purchase a cam next. i have a 1p39QMB. what is A9, AM01 Also final gears. I see 49-17 in many suppliers. Is that good? I only have bolt on upgrades. no heavy eng.
