If the Chinese scooters are still so bad I wonder about there opinion about this;

I've noticed over the years that complaints about current Chinese scooters are dwindling. If you note, most of the problems people come here to ask about are circa 2008 scooters bought when the Chinese shifted into overdrive to meet demand caused by rising gas prices. This China/Volvo connection is just the next step in more Chinese products hitting the roads. From what I've seen they're getting the hint that Americans demand trouble free over cheap.

No doubt about the reliable over inexpensive,,,cheap is nice but if it breaks down or fails quickly then interest falls,,,they (the chinese) are getting better with each passing model year,,,they will be world class in a very short time,,,i've been doing a whole bunch of research on chinese manufacturers and boy i'll tell you they are really modern , clean ,state of the art really,,,giving the csc rx3 a really long look,,,it is crazy good for the money

Very interesting. I did not know they owned volvo. Looks like they are going to start at the top.

I'm all about the china scoots! There is nothing like the satisfaction of bringing one back from the dead.

Chinascoot there is a real nice feeling of satisfaction that comes from raising a dead mummy to life and getting it back in service,,,i've done it a bunch of times,,as has many members here have done ,,,,,

My Uncle has only driven Volvo his entire life. I'll have to shoot him an email and see what he thinks about the Chinese takeover, I'm sure he'll have a choice word or two, he's downright obsessive about his oldest Volvo swearing it's the best machine ever built.
