This is the coolest toy truck I have ever seen. It's a hand built Peterbilt model, strong enough to pull a pickup truck with the operator standing on the back of the model truck!!! AWESOME!
The truck is all hand built at 1:4 scale, powered by a 12V battery, has a mini compressor, real trumpet horns, a smoke machine and a crazy 1200 watt sound system that can rock your neighborhood. There are books and plans available in the comment section of the video on youtube if you want to build one yourself:
I WANT ONE!!!

Somebody has way too much time on their hands,,, can you imagine what the guy could do if he restored an old triumph or Norton or better yet an old bmw or Ducati?Or to be more apropos to this forum an old Vespa or lambretta?

Yeah, but I bet he gets some sort of endorsement deal with Peterbilt to show up and different events. I'll bet he could end up paying for this rather expensive hobby that way at least, perhaps even earn enough for a more "worthy" project.

I'm with cyborg, I would want to ride what I built. If I was the guy with the baby peterbuilt I would be looking to trade it for a bike.

I'd love to build a small plane and actually ride in it. Now THATS my kind of model building.

I do think it is awesome. Some people have way to much time and/or money on their hands. unfortunately I ain't one of those peoples. I do have quite a few r/c models though. Next model I build is gonna be a ultra light helicopter kit. I have been seriously looking at the mosquito.

I've built a few cars and bikes myself but now would be happy with something more manageable. That is why I've come here a couple other scooter sites. I preciously modeled N gauge and just restarted in HO but that hobby sure has gotten expensive. I don't expect my layout to advance quickly so need a more affordable and useful pastime. The down side is that scooters (mo-peds) are still a bite rare and pricy around here.

I have an Avitron that looks so much like a bird that it actually gets chased by birds! Some day I do want to design and build my own with a camera, I've built a couple of rubber band models so far, till then you can find me and my bird flapping away on windless days at the park.
