I can't stress how important a PDI is. I get paranoid everytime I hear a rattle. I think I'll do a second one this weekend.

Hey I got one just like that..same color too..I think it is awwsome!! Does yer pdi say to baby it or is it as hazy about breakin period as mine? Also I wanna change my headlight configuration.. Make both act as hi/ low..any ideas as how to do this?

I just did a "standard" break in. I drove it around the neighborhood making sure to vary the amount of throttle. It has 430km as of today. I haven't driven WOT yet, I'm waiting until I change the oil one more time. I've had good luck with Chinese Scooters. My last one was a 50cc gy6. It had over 12,000 miles on it before it dissappear from an accident scene (I was taken by ambulance to the hospital). I got clipped and went into a nice soft ditch. Police left my scoot at the scene with keys in the ignition. I was beyond pissed. I'll find it one day. It's reported and I have all the papers still. Just a matter of time(it's been six months). Anyway if you look in my post history there are some pictures of it. The worst breakup I've ever been through.
If you figure out how to do the lights let me know. That's something I'd like to do too. I've got mine apart right now. Locktite time.

Thank you, I like it too. By the way I'm glad I busted out the locktite. I took the brake caliper screws out with my fingers.

I really like that Lancer... A while back I was trying to decide between a Quantum Tour and the Lancer.... I wound up selecting the Quantum Tour because it was on sale and the digital dash feature. But I was really torn... I think I like the Lancers sporty look better than my Quantum Tour. |
