Ok, If your 2 plug on the CDI has only one wire on the bottom then it is a DC CDI which is fed 12volts WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED ON. Now let me ask what motor is in there the HELIX 244c or the LINAHI 257cc? The Linahi will have one 20A fuse by the starter relay and another 15A fuse by the battery, the HELIX will have a fuse box. So if nothing is getting power then what you want to check is the IGNITION KEY IT SHOULD be getting a constant 12volts. Then when you turn the key on it should make contact usually with a black wire that then pass's the 12volts to other things usually to a PLUG that then passes the 12volts to other things. On the helix the BLACK wire feeds the FUSE BOX. Alleyoop Hello, from what I've read about the komoto it's a Honda cn250 engine. But that was just from another forum about the komoto scooter it self. I'm not 100% sure about the engine. The bike has two fuses. One off battery 10a and one before the alarm module box which is also a 10 amp. If I disconnect each wire connection and check the power wire there's about 12.3v on some and 11.2 on others. The ignition key wires are black. Red. Black/white and green. The red and black wires have power to each 12.3v. Everyone one I have check is getting power. Alleyoop. cyborg I went and replaced the batteries in the key fob and nothing still.

Try this pull the fuse by the alram box and see if it then feeds the systm. Here are two motors which one looks more like yours.

Ok if its a KOMOTO it has the HELIX 244c motor and that usually has a FUSE BOX, they don't sell that scooter anymore.

Alleyoop pulled the fuse still getting power to the key ignition and red wire is 12.3v. Black wire is only 11v.

Fine but look for a fuse box, that motor usually has a fuse box that the BLACK WIRE feeds. The fuse box then feeds everything else, now the fuse boxes on these scoots are very cheap and probably the black wire is not making good contact to feed the rest of the fuses in the fuse box. Here is a shot of a fuse box:

Ok followed all the wires no fuse box anywhere. Is there a typical spot to be looking incase I'm missing something? All the wires are ran on the right hand side of the bike. For tail light to headlight. Alleyoop

And no fuse box hummm!!! Ok so when you turn the key on and squeeze the brake not brake lights. With Key on nothing lights up and fuel gauge doesn't work right.
Take some pictures of the sick child engine bay and whatever you have open on it to see the wiring up front etc..

Well looks like there is no fuse box on this scoot!! Now The BLACK WIRE on the 2 plug of the CDI if you test it at the CDI with the KEY ON does it register around 12volts? If not have you tested the wire from the BATTERY with the 10amp fuse on it that should go right to the IGNITION SWITCH. If that Fused wire from the battery has 12volts at the ignition then the problem is the IGNITION or the wires from it. Did you try pulling the FUSE out at the ALARM BOX?

I noticed a solid black wire coming from the alarm box, separate from the connection point. Is that supposed to be connected somewhere?
