What would be the best upgrade for a stock 150cc Chinese scooter. Not for increasing performance more for reliability. I guess I can replace worn out or defective parts as they fail but I like working on my scooter so I'm looking to upgrade some stock parts with more reliable ones. I've already changed the vac and fuel hoses. I've also installed magnetic Prima drain plugs/bolts. I'm thinking a new carb might be next, they're relatively cheap and the stock ones aren't the best. I'm not looking for a huge performance increase just want to improve quality. Tires, battery, HID lights, is there anything I'm missing?

Another good one for reliability is replacing the vacuum petcock for a manual turning one. The vacuum operated ones are known to fail.

Properly tune your CVT, its real chep and will make a good diference.

Getting a new carb is a waste of your money UNLESS the carb that is on there has the Fuel Ratio Mixture Plugged and or the Carb Bowl screws without the heads on so you cannot take the bowl off. The carb on there will be the same as what you get only the fuel ratio screw will not be plugged and the screw heads on the carb bowl will be there but everything else is sameo sameo.

Maybe get an IRIDIUM PLUG, better starts and idles, LED lights for your stop lights and running light.
