A restricted CDI would rev at about 8 to 8.5k so you may need to tune your variator and clutch.

If you wanna remove the auto enricher, you could go with this. It aint really expensive and it allows you to go rich "on demand" on long ride or on colder days.

On witch side did the scooter fall? Sounds like you got the throttle wire getting stuck somewhere.

Hi, its been a while since i posted here, its been a pretty busy winter and spring for me with work and my scooter. I.m almost done with my build, just got a few loose ends to finish so here it is. Im sorry if its a link to another forum, i'm just to lazy to repost 4 pages of picture heavy stuff. Enjoy. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/11153/guts-looks-build

That B way cool,,, if you pull this off you'll be my new forum hero,,, we had a guy on here tried to mod a scoot and it kind of just vaporized,,, kept putting up all these bogus progress pics,,,, then he dropped off the face of the earth,,,now he lurks and has his ID hidden so you can't tell he's been viewing via the creeper method,, except the moderators can see he's been creepin around,,,, he needs to get out more often,,, anyways I look forward to " the build",,, Done, i just made a post about the build.

You can get a brand new muffler just like that for about $40 on ebay.
If you can weld, you could open it up and fix it. Drill out the rivets, remove the aluminum sleeve, cut it open and remove the rattling part from it. Weld it back and VOILA!!!
