I will post up some pics of the new Mirrors installed soon.

When I picked up my scooter today at the shop from getting new tires I was looking at mirrors he had hanging up on the wall. The POS that came on my Jonway have been one biggest gripes with the new scooter. They are the cheapest crap on the scooter I have wanted to change them out since I got it. The guy at the shop talked me into these. Said they are the only mirrors he will use on his motorcycles.

If you have problems seeing past your shoulders with the stock mirrors you will love the barend mirrors. They take a lil getting used to though, at least for me. Depending on how they are mounted and what type, they can interfere with the brake levers.

Plenty of clearance for the break levers. They mount right into the end of the handle bars. Now just need to test them out and get some good pictures of them mounted to post up here.

I hate the stock mirrors on the Xpeed so I got "handlebar mirrors" from JC Whitney. They were a pain to install because the ends of my bars are tapered and they wanted to slide off when I tightened the bolts. I used clear plastic hose of smaller diameter and pushed in on then a drop of gorilla glue to tack the hose on. Mirrors mounted ok and they really help visibilty. I have to adjust the right one a lot because I tend to bump it when I throttle.

I prefer the bullet installed handlebar mirrors myself. JC has them, but they're a bit pricey. You unscrew the bullet from the end of the bars and put this one in instead. Some are straight and don't interfere with your handling at all.

Can't you install those upside down to get them out of the way?

Rich - I played around with them and that way seems to give the best field of view.

Ok I was taking some picture of the saddle bags I picked up I figured I should take some pics of the Mirrors at the same time. So please forgive the BUGS... Have to wash the scooter again that is only after 2 days of riding.
