Thanks Cable guy.
I should have given a bit more of the needed info. I have a JCL MP250A which isn't a GY6.

Yeah, I know, but it would surprise me if the brake master cylinder would be different... I'd give Jim at Rapid Repair a quick call and ask if they are the same. He sells/services most of these scoots...

I'd wager a guess and say they are the same as well unless it's a twin disc setup

Has anyone had any luck drilling the screw head off?

Yes I was going to mention that and if enough of the screw shaft is left you can sometimes catch it with vice grip needle nose pliers,,,if not you need to pilot drill it tap in an easy out and that will do the trick,,,but as I mentioned before to have that much loss where you can't see anything in the reservoir eye after you pushed the Pistons back there's a leak somewhere,,and my money bets on bad caliper seals,,,,,that's also why I said ,,,change the whole system,,,it's cheap insurance,,,I've wrecked a few bikes,,,it ain't fun or pretty to you or the bike,,,,for less than $150 you can have peace of mind knowing the brakes won't go away when the next a$$hole runs a red or does a left in front of you,,,,

I have never had much success with the easy outs. Has anyone been successful on a master cylinder of drilling off the top of the screw head. I could then remove the cover and get a vise grip on the screw shaft.

So good news is that the clutch is all put back on properly torqued with removable Loctite. The bad news is that the loose nut that holds the clutch on isn't what was making the noise in my earlier video (from post 20 of this thread). Have a listen to this video and see if you can identify the noise. Any ideas on how to solve it? Thanks. I appreciate everyone's help in getting this solved. View My Video

Played fine for me, however I'm at a loss for what would make that noise... Sounds like there's a marble rolling around in there. All the variator weights in place?

Watched the video. Almost seems like the belt is slapping the housing in time with the noise!
