Where can I find new wheels/tires for rear trike By ferret1 (Read 1,726 times)

   My Icebear Zodiac 150cc trike has been a bad dream from day one.....Every day off from work I find myself underneath the darn thing fixing something....Everytime I order a part....it's not the right one.  I am very inventive with massive fabrication skill and have made many design changes to accomodate.

The main issues I am having now are   

1.  Gear oil leaks like Mount Vesuvias


2.  The constant wobble which a tire shop guy told me was due to warped rear wheel rims......LOVELY

After searching forever with no success,  I ask you, fellow trikers,  where in the world can I find to replace these puppies?





The measurements are 270/30 14"

Yes I have 3 Zodiac's as far a parts why don't you get Jim of Rapid Repair. He is my parts man he is listed above. You need to call him if you get a recording leave message he always called me. Could you take a picture of leak I maybe able to help.

You sound like the vent tube is closed up or off the gear box vent. Or it's over filled.

i have them on my maddog trike. tires on the these chinese bikes are real crap.all 3 on my trike were shaped like eggs. thing was unridable.
also look at the chain mine was so tight vibrations were unbearable.

If chain was that tight who PDI it that's who fault that is ? No buddy's else s

The 300 Zodiac should be the same rear wheel, the tries are the same. The hitch is Ice Bear is out of stock on these. However, if you would like I could check about a special order. Call me if you like 715-825-3710

I have been with Ice Bear since 2008 and I have yet to see a new trike with all 3 tires bad. I have seen some that were bad and Ice Bear replaced them under warranty with no issues.

Being an old tire dealer, one thing you can try over inflate your tires, by 15lbs over max inflate. ride on hot day as many miles you can take!!!! Let tires cool down refill to max psi. Your trike may have flat spots this some times will resolve the problem.  Also do you use balance beads, or have them computer balanced. After all this try riding with less air pressure 5lbs.lower than max. Good day hope it helps.
