Nice find! Its funny how the all the different Wal-Marts will carry slightly different merchanise, especially when it comes to sporting goods and automotive. I haven't seen anything like those bags at any of the Wal-marts in my area, but I may have to go on a hunt. There are dozens of Wal-Marts within a short drive of my house.
I've got a couple questions if you don't mind. How secure are those saddlebags to the bike? Do they have straps to tie them down or do they just drape over the bike and get held by the seat? Have you ridden with them on... do they blow around any? What are the approximate inside dimensions?

Josh. They have lots of straps. I will take some pictures of they way I have them fastened tonight.
The do not blow around that much but I did notice when empty they do move a bit.
I do not remeber off the top of my head the Dims. I will post them up tonight also.

Thanks! No rush, its not like I'm going to run out and buy them right now. I'm still thinking I might try to get some hard cases for mine, but I always like having options. If they'll hold my work laptop, they'd definitely be worth considering.
I assumed they'd have some straps, but I only see the ones across the top in your pictures.

I'm impressed Todd. Walmart - you found them there? Not at mine that's for sure. Wow - they even match my jacket! Enjoy that long ride and be safe!

Ok this is the picture of the sissy bar I picked up. I am not sure what the cost is going to be yet on the rest of the constructed bracket yet. I will post up final when it is all done I just got it in the mail yesterday. This piece I bought from a guy for 10 bucks. That is solid steel not tubeing. it is heavy.

I just found those saddle bags at my local Wal-Mart today. I didn't buy them, but I do know where I can find them, now.
