I was thinking the other day I needed to get a new belt on when on the way home she blew at 1250 Miles. Only a two mile push some down hill to my house. Just curious as to what mileage other's have gotten out of their belts.

Done 8750 miles now and belt looks good. manual says it will last for 11800. I won't wait till then though

My first belt blew out around 8000 miles. Left me on the side of the road, in the middle of no where... had to have the scoot towed, because I didn't own a truck at the time and none of my truck owning friends were nearby or available to help.
I'll never ride without a spare again.

at 12k miles you'll see some signs of wears like small cracks etc,but i believe it'll still last for few thousand miles more.
i changed mine at 14k. i can barely see the difference in overall size compared to the brand new belt,but it got some crack on the inner portion of the belt. i don't take chances.
primary and secondary sheaves are in perfect condition. i use a ruler to help investigate for some wear and dents.
after 14k miles, still looks and rides new...and that's my Morphous!!!

I have 6700 miles on my 250B and it doesn't show any signs of wear. I ordered another one just to have a spare around, but I don't need it.

Yamaha sez 14,400 for the Majesty belt, think it's the same for the Morphous. Checked belt on Maj and was within 90% of spec. Did find a couple of flat rollers.Have 17k on belt now, looking ay 18 to 19 k before replacement. Expect Morphous to be the same. For now, all is well.
