just be careful with 110. could cause a fire if one of them fragrant babys gets stuck and starts sparking!!!!/ wet ground and maybe a little salt on the ground would be even better to make good contact. 15 years ago I had some pigs that were just running into the electric fence and thru it. I waited till it was sprinkling rain for a few hours and replaced the fence charger with 110 and put some food just out side the fence. after they all got in it and got done squealing they never ever tried to test the fence again. 110 has some authority.

speaking of bad smells just got back from the va and my dog had the crapts. bout a pound and a half!! did it all on his blanket so other than the smell.............nothing a hose couldn't fix. when the blanket drips dry it can go in the washer. ooooooooouh thats an awfull smell but not as long lasting as a skunk.

, sounds like your going to make a worm shocker. Made one of those when I was a kid. Wet the ground and drive in those 2 rods and pluger in and wait for 20 minutes. Unplug the cord go out and start picking up the worms. ....When you do this, keep the animals in the house cause they will YIP when they hit the wet spot till they find the dry ground.
Chicken wire weighted ( FLAT) around the base of your house for about a week. When the skunks come back and realize that they have no more home, they will go find another somewhere else.

that's wharraym sayin' jr, skunk is nocturnal, an enclosed self ejecting screen trap will trap that stinky spooky doll at night while you are in deep sleep. no need to go out and be disturbed., may want to set 3 traps around the house. ,in the morning if there's a catch all you have to do is to shoot them with your gun or put them inside the wood chipper. problem solved!

any body ever see those $14.95 driveway alerts they sell at harbor freight? last week I picked one up. I did have another that batteries corroded in but too lazy to fix. I have been getting armadillo holes dug in my grass especially near the house. these alerts are wireless. I set it up near the front door. the first night at 2:30 am it went off. I went out the back door in my skivies with a home made 9mm pellet gun that has a laser sight mounted on it. guess who went to sleep on the first shot? Hard to say if there is/was more than one cause there are so many holes in the yard, but I still have it set up just in case.

i didn't know that skunk can be a nice house pet.,,now stop killing them lol,awwww, they're so cute!! wonder if there's a surgical procedure to somehow take away that sweat glands or whatever glands that produce the blinding smell./ i guess there is,,was mentioned in the video. /maybe it's good when you had it when it's still a baby.

Up here, they're considered fur bearers and its illegal just to shoot them. The Game Commission will give you live traps that are designed so they can't lift their tails and spray. The GC will take them far away and release them.

Downside - up here they're a major source of rabies.
